I am going to break my rule and post on the internet when I have been drinking. Champagne and Brandy. It goes down cold and then starts to warm up. Wherever you are, whatever your point of view, whatever you are currently drinking. It has been a very enjoyable year on ATS and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the festive felicitations and the very best for the coming year.

Cheers, and come out fighting.
CR.

Not this old campaigner. I've eaten my body weight system cushioning carbs and protein.

Your eyes are the wrong way up. I'm surprised you can see anything through that helmet.

Champagne and Brandy is a tried and tested combination. It is well know for its effectiveness in loosening the elastic of certain undergarments. May yours bring you the same.

I don't doubt that we will have our moments and disagreements as we got brought the coming year, but I would like you all to know that I value those greatly. Being a member has played no small part in making me the person I am and I am grateful for that.

Going up against skilful debaters who stand by what they believe is a process that enriches us all, and I would not trade that off for the empty satisfaction of feeling that everything I say provokes comment only from those who feel as I do.

"Champagne and Brandy"

That sounds good....

for both drinking and cooking with......I've combined white wine and Grande Marnier for shrimp before. Start cooking in the wine (or champagne), then when almost done, add the Grande Marnier (or brandy) 🍤🍾🥃

Try your champagne and brandy with a spray of lemon juice and gomme (sugar syrup). It's a lovely variation on a French 75. Use gin instead of brandy to make a French 75. Mmmmm

I had cold beers,Heinekens.About 2 glasses of cabernet sauvignon too.I got champagne for the kids.Well not right now, last night when we had the big meal for our family get together.I actually mean sparkling wine,i don't like the taste of proper french champagne. In my country we have a sparkly named J.C Le Roux Le Domaine, that is really nice.
