Can you imagine how high our living standards would be as a civilization if we invested our money into positive human development, public works and infrastructure?

Can you imagine the world where people were focused on advancement and the betterment of our species? Where intellectual success was esteemed on par with our current famed entertainers?

Isn't that what we should want if we plan to survive the millennia and progress forward into a better future for everyone?

We've got a lot of changes to make on the most fundamental levels as individuals and as a society.

We already have socialism, and I was just proposing spending the funds better.

If we want pure capitalism we could just cut the tax rates all the way down to near nothing.

Either way I'd be much more pleased with the state of affairs as opposed to the current shenanigans.

Issues like this might be the "collateral damage" stemming from the on-going investigations.

The more of government that is exposed, benefits us all.

Totally, I actually think that media complicity and or control by the military industrial complex is one of the most important conspiracies to wake people up to. People need to understand this to not only realize how their "consent is manufactured" and the fact that they need to find alternative sources of info. Most people I try to describe this too fight the concept tooth and nail. Until media control is recognized and changed, information control prevents a majority of the population from waking up.

Interesting points made muzzleflash. Perhaps it cost to defend planets full of life.

But sometimes you cannot tell said life defended they are being defended immediately, to prevent mental overload of the unknown universe on the developing human mind.

Imagine how much it would possibly cost in EA*RTH money to purchase technology of the alien brand (however that is done) to defend/protect this planet from outside forces like asteroid-comet impacts and or lifeforms visiting with ill intentions.

It is observed that many humans feel their surviving as top surface inhabitants thus far is a random act of nature muzzleflash. I don't think it is.
I feel someone(s) and special something(s) technological has/have been and is helping the spirit that inhabits current man and also other life associated to this planet to survive here on top surface of EA*RTH.

It is just that some humans are not able to consider the cost of such defense.
And how it has to be hidden for security purposes of those protected by it not prepared to hear the truth of what they are being defended/protected from.

Well it's our government, we created it and allow it to operate by consent.

We have a need to know, and a Right to know, where and how our tax dollars are being spent. They are public servants and they are here to serve us for our benefit as civilized men and women.

If they are wasting, or worse, stealing our capital than it absolutely is our duty to oust them. They work for us, we don't work for them.

Either we have a standing valid Constitution or we don't. It's that simple.

So they better just go ahead and straighten up.
The days for this kind of BS are numbered.

I think it's funny when NASA's budget is announced that way, because NASA is only a public front for the DoD and most NASA missions are classified, plus most of their public missions also share secret or top secret portions of the overall missions. I have heard a lot of people speak of this, Richard Dolan and many others.

Paradox-

They could at least issue a statement and say
"Look, this money is being spent on defense against a very real threat, and we have it under control currently. We will reveal more information slowly as necessary to survive."

And then give us a few teasers or something.

If they are genuinely being honest about where this $$$ goes, than they need to ACT honest about it when talking to our faces. It's very hard to trust a blatant liar who is holding all of your money.

I'm not buying it.

Especially when a HUD secretary that has absolutely nothing to do with the army suddenly finds 'something'.

And nothing from 3 different administrations and employees.

I'd really like to know how a branch can 'spend' more money than they are actually given.

Defeats the purpose of budgets.

I know, I'm a democratic socialist. I'm for constructive evidence based investments from better education and health care for all to public works and infrastructure.

It's mathematically impossible anyway.

Total federal spending in any given year is over 3 trillion.

And a single military branch manages to spend more than the entire spending of the government ?

Two times more than it spends.

I have become completely convinced that the military industrial complex must control our mainstream media narratives.

It makes perfect sense.

But it's frightening when you look around at the people in your vicinity in real life - everyone's being distracted and misled. It's not just about the money, it's everything. It's about the human experience and your personal enlightenment, your physical and mental health, your living standards, your education, everything.

We're being sucked dry while we are allowing them to control us based off our primitive instincts.
