The Pyramids were nothing more than Hydraulic Water pumps designed to move water out to fields further away from the river Nile than a simple channel could flow. It was all about agriculture. When the Water sources dried up they built newer ones closer to the supply and used them as burial chambers.

If hydraulics was the sole purpose of pyramids, wouldn't a water wheel, dutch windmill or an archimedean screw have been simpler and more cost effective? Certainly less labour to build and quicker too.

I think this is the easy answer, and maybe the right one, its odd there isnt more of a consensus on the subject.

I think the electric possibility is still there though, Ive read the limestone covering is man-made and would act as a capacitor to store the energy produced. Hopefully someone is able to show a working model one day(I know its been years now, so not holding my breathe).

Nah, the real question for the Pyramids-As-Electricity-Generators folks is far simpler.
They yap about their pet theory a lot, but fail to reproduce the claim on a smaller, demonstrative scale. It's kind of hard to take them seriously when they can't produce any proof their theory even works.

The entire state of Florida sits atop a LOT of limestone. The idea should be easy to prove there, yet has not been.
