Go to the website link in th OP for To The Stars Academy Community of Interest. It has a full breakdown of the video and explanation of that very thing.

👍
Its an interesting video.
But once an aircraft is airborne, that statement by F 18 pilots ' against he wind' has no meaning except that the ground speed reduces.
and F 18 pilots remarking so is bloody hilarious.

Are you saying an F18 has no way of measuring wind speed or direction?

There are 2 videos at coi.tothestarsacademy.com...

I am pretty sure they are 2 of the 3.

FLIR1 is the second of three US military videos of unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP) that has been through the official declassification review process of the United States government and approved for public release.

Where is the 3d!!!??? And why is it being held back

Not a 3rd video, but a 3rd page: 2004 USS NIMITZ PILOT REPORT.

Very interesting details!

unusual water disturbance
in a manner that seemed to defy the laws of flight physics
"tumbled" into nonsensical angles that made any engagement by the F-18 impossible

Are we seriously impressed by an "official government" released clip of a blip on a radar ?? How is this disclosure ?? This is nothing more than what dozens of other countries have already released ; footage of a fighterplane in pursuit of a UFO, we've seen this crap plenty of times before. If this is the Grand Disclosure Delonge is always boasting about then f*ck him big time, I've had enough of this sh*t ! Where is the close-up HD footage of outerspace encounters ? Where is the footage of UFO's landing on an airforce base, where is the disclosure of the alien-tech our governments have used to build intergalactic spaceships ? WAUW the US government admits they had a "secret UFO tracking project" WAUW !!
Delonge is a tool, a stupid ignorant "look at me I'm wearing a suit like a real man because I have a meeting with important men that I cannot tell you about !" child who has the audacity to call David Icke "a weirdo" ! At least Icke knows his sh*t and he's been selling his knowledge for over 30 years now, you may not agree with everything Icke has published but the man is determined, I just started reading his last book ("Everything you need to know ..") and for the first time it actually looks and feels like a normal book. Rant off.

Apparently, they feel we still have to be spoon fed little tidbits of information. Indeed, a little at a time since they want to make sure people are ready and won't be too traumatized when the bigger disclosures are released.

All the Star wars, Star Trek, Mars meets the moon, myriad stories (as you mention) just like this, the Steven Greer revelations and all the TV series and documentaries probably in the thousands, is not enough.

Also, someone wants to squeeze money and monetize the alien disclosure events, and that would be those in the TDL group and the people (probably Bigelow) behind them are getting the franchise.

And if you want to get on board before the train starts a rolling the minimum price is 200 bucks.

"This was my first thought as well. Sounds like cronyism. There are people who get into ufology specifically to take advantage of believers for financial gain. Sounds like now they've gotten their hands into taxpayer money. There are some incidents that even I would admit are not easily explained. I think it's worth looking into, but I would rather that research was academic rather than government/military. If there are significant findings, the military can still run analysis to determine the threat."

Mr. Bigelow has actually spent money, lots of it, investigating the phenomena.

In general in Nevada, and couple of other places, when Robert Bigelow says "jump", the politicians are already in the air.

Personally, I greatly appreciate the work you have done over the years. However, with respects to this...this has the hallmarks of going absolutely nowhere. It is clear from the articles there was never any serious intent to discover an answer to the various UAPs which were reported. Clearly it was nothing more than an attempt to satiate the ones who have a very small amount of political power. But it is very...and I mean VERY clear the real powers that be are NEVER going to allow any level of meaningful disclosure.

UFOlogy is officially relegated to remain a fringe topic for eternity. And Tom DeLonge is 100% a puppet. How on Earth does he expect to do anything purposeful and meaningful if the best "evidence" being released to him is nothing more than erroneous abbreviated clips? He was spouting off about getting declassified alien tech and making it applicable in a commercial capacity to benefit man. What weed is he smoking?

The Joe Rogan podcast truly shows how clueless TDL is. I've followed Rogan for 10 years. Watch nearly every podcast he's ever done. Rogan is near expert level at getting someone to step all over themselves and the entire podcast he had TDL completely flustered. So much so that at one point he gets TDL to admit how he came about his supposed knowledge was through nothing more than "piecing together shlt" from books and videos over the years. This is laughable.

You are probably the most legitimate researcher I've ever followed and honestly stuff like this is beneath you.

UFOlogy as we know it is dead and that disappoints me greatly. Thanks for the post none the less.

I'd imagine for the same reason Wikileaks drops leaks in stages. A separate drop of video 3 in a few weeks months will generate a new buzz. More impact than doing it all in one drop.

The second video in the New York Times article says it was, "about the size of a commercial plane, chased by two Navy F/A-18F fighter jets from the aircraft carrier Nimitz off the coast of San Diego in 2004."

Don't know if I missed it, but can't find date or location for the first video.

I want to see more of these vids though
In that 2nd vid it look like there are protrusions from the UAP, a 'v' shape at top and a 'line' at bottom. But only see that for a short while around the 0:15 mark. Looking at it again the 'line' looks more like a conical shape under the main mass...

In the video descriptions on the TTS site, that information was purposely removed.

The date, location, and other information have been removed by the originating authority as part of the release approval process.

In another thread I pointed out some significant issues with the new "GIMBAL" footage and the written commentary on it from the TTS/AAS website.

I'm not sure if people here saw it, but I'd like to know what what you think.

I think ATS should chill on the celebrity ufo hype train. I think it takes away. Does anyone remember when Robbie Williams was here, aka Chrisonabike? Would live to get back to the old ATS circa 2005. Before all of this.

In my opinion this is the closest to "disclosure" we will ever get from the US government. This was clearly a coordinated mass media press release. The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC... it can't get any more official than this.

If any of you guys are waiting for the US president to make an official announcement on TV about "UFO's are real" you are waiting in vain. This is never going to happen because they would have to admit to have been lying to us for about 70 years.

They don't know anything more than any of us, whatever they called their research projects over the many years, Project Blue Book or this new one "Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program" they are just researching the phenomenon of UFO's and basically know #. Just like us. They know about the many reports of pilots who observed these objects, the many witness reports, just like us. Maybe they recovered a crashed UFO in Roswell, who knows, but I doubt they have gained any knowledge from it. It's like giving an iPhone to an Neanderthal. They know #.

So this is it guys, disclosure. Cope with it.

I don't know if this is a psy-op, I don't understand the motivation for them releasing the footage at all. Was it to cover their behinds due to the footage with no audio being leaked last month? I don't understand why they would release the footage with the audio? What do they have to gain? We're they coerced into releasing it as someone would anyway with or without their consent......I believe the footage to be real it's just the motivation for doing so that stumps me...

After thinking and reflecting on this for a while this is what I personally think this is all about. We are 70 years this year after whatever happened at roswell and taking into consideration the CIA was created in this year and all the other extraordinary things that happended in that year. I believe the government is starting to reveal what they knew in 1947 but to the public in 2017, I believe that any technological advances that have been made in the last 70years will slowly be dripped down to the public over the next 50-70 years so that people are slowly acclimatised to what is going on. The government has stated that there was a secret program to investigate these aerial threats but thru don't know what they are, well in 1947 they didn't, so it's like a reversal of knowledge but disclosed to the public 70 years on, I hope that makes sense.

The fact theat they stated that it was closed due to funding cuts is nonsense, this is their get out clause when more questions are asked, so they can just refer to it as not worthy of anymore investigation and wasting more money.
. Interestingly J Reid was frustrated at the lack of transparency and the secrecy in his attempts to get to the bottom of it, quite simply the black world has told him, he didn't have a need to know which fits how the secrecy and compartmentalisation works.

Maybe the footage is of deep deep black drone projects that's the DOD has released to force cooperation between themselves and some of these compartmentalised programs? "hey, what's going on down there?" " You don't have a need to know!" "OK we will release footage to force you to cooperate" "so......" etc

I hope the public gets more than an ambiguous video from the $22 million they have been forced to spend on it.

Also keep in mind that it is known and has even been reported in mainstream news that at some point the military may utilize a staged alien threat to conduct or bring in certain unpopular changes to our society and world.
