I am afraid of owls. I once took my son to the Musuem of Science in Boston, and there was an owl show. I sat way in the back. Once the show ended, the handler would let people who wanted to, come up close and look at the owl. In attempt to overcome my fear of it, I tried to look it in the eyes several times, and it would turn its head every time.


On another note, walking home from the bustop one day I saw a huge hawk (I believe it was) flying really close to me, and I said hi birdie, then to my horror it landed right next to me and kept walking next to me, it was huge. Followed me quite a way, then finally flew off. Creeped me out!

For what it is worth, I think the Minerva Rule has to do with State Department stuff. I remember hearing about it when I was a Political Science major. Something about Japan and Europe or some such. I have no idea about the Owl part, though.

I'd suggest that any scenario that involves uninvited imposition (which is what abduction is...and which is what YOU seem to have gone through), is generally malevolent. But I understand that you are trying to achieve a balanced view.

But our intentions are not evil when we tranquillize animals on reserves, sometimes we do it for a general check up, sometimes we operate, take samples or treat wounds.

I imagine the animals are left confused, if those animals have a concept of evil they might associate it with us.

From what I understand, Minerva Rules may be a reference to standards set for how foreign policy decisions and actions are dealt with.

There seems to be a "conspiracy" behind that interpretation, but I really have not paid much attention to it to give it much concern.

Yeah, of course, to both.

Obviously in the case of ET's they might be able to communicate with us better than we can with animals. If they could simply tell us their intentions but they chose not to, arguably that would be immoral. But would a human necessarily believe it when the ET said "we come in peace"? Or, if the ET could just put a magic bullet in your head and make you "know" that you are safe and cared for, would that be moral? Sounds like mind-control to me! Biologists could try to befriend every single bear too before they shoot them in the butt with a tranquilizer, but do they have time for that? And even then, would the bear understand and forgive them? See, the ET's might have a good reason for what they are doing, even if it seems scary to us. I'm not saying this is happening, obviously we don't know. But sometimes in hospitals they put people in restraints too, or they cause pain. That doesn't necessarily mean they see them as animals.

And in the second part of your question you are simplifying quite a bit. There are huge differences between different species of animals. A dog or a chimp would look much closer to a human than to a shrimp, a bacteria, or whatever. Why would the ET's give humans such special treatment over their pet dogs? And if, as you imply, the ET's thought humans are more valuable, then that might just give them more reason to save us even against our will.

That is a good question, there does seem to be some evidence this Qanon Tweeter is on the White house social media payroll. OP triggered on a scene from an old Twin peaks episode and found more imagery from Bohemian Grove as possible sources of keys. No proof at all what this is about.
