Didn't Obama have a conference at the U.N. where he specifically spoke out against offshore drilling almost exactly one month after the oil spill?

Am I the only one who wonders if this was a coincidence?

I can't seem to find the news story (they probably axed it after attention was brought) so if someone can pull it up out of Davey Jones' locker, I will source it.

Sounds like the appropriate thing to do in my opinion. Whether Obama actually believed what he said is another thing entirely.

Why don't "We" (as a collective) group together and get rid of ALL the politicians who continue to work for the big corporations or their next term? Or at least continue to pick/rate/degrade 'current' politicians and not ones that have been out of office for a year?

The "Obama Phone" being the exception.

I am suggesting that there may have been a political motive for the explosion that caused the oil spill - that it may have been an internal clandestine op.
