I actually predicted and anticipated that someone would come in and attack me, the OP, on personal grounds rather than attack the content of my OP.

I'm sure that if anyone really posts in here that it will happen many more times.

ATS has sorta gotten into a bad habit where at least 1/4th of the posters focus entirely on personal attacks and actually ignore the OP topic entirely.

But hey, that's normal and stuff now. Typical mud slinging tactics.

I kinda rushed on writing the title to this, it's a little bit too big I think.

I wanted to convey a complex message and the theme though, it was difficult.
I aimed to let everyone know the gist before they even started reading it.

I usually do better with titles and a title does make the thread, so I do regret not forming something a bit more concise and click-bait-like.

And regretfully I feel like half of the website's readership will simply dislike the entire gist of what I'm saying because they probably lean a certain way politically and probably admire this individual as some sort of heroine of their movement.

I would hope however that those leaning left would recognize that this person has actually been swaying their politics subtly for decades and they probably didn't even know much about her.

Even if they disagree with my over-arching portrayal, I hope they'll recognize I gave her a fair shake and appreciate the fact I taught them a few things they probably weren't aware of yet.

I also would hope people are open minded enough to consider my piece seriously and to ponder the very suspicious nature of how media works and how specific people seem to control the entire narrative on the MSM.

But that has nothing to do with politics or media or anything.

I meant that when I'm in love I'll go all out you know - write poetry, light candles, bring flowers and candies. Lotsa cheesy stuff like that. I'm sorry I worded it oddly, what I meant was that I'm an Extremist with Love. I was hoping calling myself a diehard romantic would have explained that better.

Hmmm ATS, I concede that I misgauged how this thread would do. I figured it would be more successful.

I'll try something different tomorrow and see how that plays out. This next one theoretically will be more contentious and will really challenge people's belief systems.
