LP: Love Her Style and Sound.

Hi ATS friends and fellow music lovers
I hope you are enjoying your weekend!
I see we have quite a few music threads already today, and although I didn't want to saturate the boards, I heard this incredibly talented musician today and my thoughts immediately went to sharing her talent with my friends here on ATS.

Who's heard of LP? It looks like I'm the one behind here-- she was featured in Vogue (though not my usual reading) in 2012 and has worked with numerous musicians and her song Muddy Waters was featured in the series "Orange is the New Black".

Better late than never, though. And here I am, entranced by LP's voice. I also like her style; she is, undisputably, herself- rather than a made up persona that many (mostly female, I think) musicians are forced to adopt.

I like her a lot, very unique and authentic! True artist and a great voice. I'm really feeling the vibe of Muddy Waters.

Also reminds me of Sigourney Weaver, minus the aliens.
