Trump has gone too far!

Alright so 2 of my favorite artists still recording recently put out albums. I'm ecstatic to hear some new material!

But oops! They had to include subtle and not-so-subtle jabs at Trump and his wall.

The most obvious--



and although the lyrics do refer to borders in general, I can't help but feel the "trouble at the border" alludes to US/ Mexico.



There is a theme here: Non-Americans commenting on American policy.

Yeah, okay! I'll buy the albums, but why does everything have to be politicized? I do not listen to you guys for your political views sheesh. Is this who you think your fans are?

Who else is putting out Trump songs? This is taking it too far!

By the way, maybe Elvis was a time traveler because he had some words to say about the Trump wall as well! You know Elvis was true blue American!

Does anyone not remember the Dixie Chicks being scrutinized, banned from radio play, and (almost totally) having their careers ruined over their Anti-Bush song? Doss anyone remember Eminem and his anti-bush song? Does anyone remember a whole host of political music that was rather popular? Rage Against the Machine. Green Day. System of a Down. Crosby, Stills, and Nash. The list goes on and on. Music has always been very political. Just like any other forms of media.
