Why? Statute of limitations for both civil and criminal are long past.

Allred does this for free since it is like a million dollar publicly for her and keeps her in the news..

I think Allred is representing Nelson because there is physical evidence which indicates a relationship between Moore and Nelson. A relationship which Moore was, at first, equivocal about before denying entirely.

But the relationship would have been legal... So what is left? By her own words she dated him a few times... by what appears to have been just old fashion making out sessions at the most in his car. She even said she added the statement to her yearbook to remember him...seems like she had good feelings for him.

The bottom line here is: if the people of Alabama want the world to think that they are a bunch of ignorant, gun toting, Bible thumping, redneck pedophiles, they should vote for Roy Moore to represent them. That's fair.

True. If they elect him, they will always be the state who "knowingly put a sexual predator in the Senate".
Even after Congress kicks him out because he's unfit. It will take Alabama decades to recover from this, if ever.

That might be your bottom line.

The only reasonable line is that the people will decide whether they believe sexual harassment claims made in the run-up to an election. Hopefully, they will ignore the politically partisan hack peer pressure from dishonest people and make it clear once again to those that would use social and political emotional blackmail tactics to get their way can go and take a running jump.

Yep, 2018 is going to be a lot of fun as long as you guys keep the false shaming going... we'll see how well a one-party system works out.

No, it isn't really more complicated. It is even more of a problem to assume someone is guilty just because others have been caught, admitted wrongdoing, and been punished. The other cases have no bearing on whether Moore is guilty and certainly cannot be used as justification for smearing anyone who does not believe the charges. This is a simple case of trying to shame people into voting for a preferred candidate or not voting for a candidate. When that is admitted, there might be some good new ground to move onto.

You mention control, but the only attempt to control I can see is from those who seek to pressure others into voting their way by using shame tactics based on accusations with no evidence.

He should be shamed. The guy is a pig and plenty of republicans, even in his own state believe so.

It's pretty obvious he has an antiquated view of the world and doesn't believe there is anything wrong with taking advantage of more impressionable very young woman.

Similar to slick willy.

look at it like this you hire a scientist to prove globe is getting warmer guess what they going to say?
now if it was part of a lawsuit and a judge hired an independent expert that would be a different story but this guy was hired by her attorney so he liable to say what they want to hear because they are paying them.

You just named politics in general. The Donald also absolutely loves this tactic.

If he is elected these allegations will be vetted by his own parties ethic committee. And he will be cleared or kicked out.

Your view is not shared by all. There are many who simply don't believe the allegations and find his views more palatable than your version of progress.
If your reaction to that truth is to insult and shame and cite 'plenty of Republicans' or 'people in his own state' you are indeed trying to exercise control through manipulation.
It looks to me as if more people in his state actually support him and have rejected the accusations.
I wonder whether you are able to address and debate their views without resorting to words like 'pigs'.

For example - what about those that agree with him that core religious writings of the predominant religion in the land should be allowed in State buildings. Those that agree with him that marriage should be between a man and a woman. Those that don't believe the allegations against him - at least not until evidence is provided. Are they not entitled to those views? Should they defer to your views?

No it doesn't actually look like anything. What are the election results?

By you saying liberals are making this or that your manipulating.

It's not just liberals. It's many republicans and independents.

It's also people currently who are republicans in Congress.

To your edit.

My views don't really matter.

To manipulate religious freedom to mean right to use your faith to descriminate is not what the forefathers were talking about.

The taxpayers money should not go to religious favoritism or religious ethics unless they comply with the constitutional laws.
