Ethics Committee clears Rep. Devin Nunes

The House Ethics Committee on Thursday cleared Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, of allegations that he disclosed classified information earlier this year.

Nunes was forced to step aside from the helm of the committee’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, including alleged collusion with President Donald Trump’s allies, in the wake of his March statement that members of the Trump transition team had their communications legally monitored by the U.S. intelligence community.

Why the hell was Devin Nunes handed over to the ethics committee for investigation? Hillary "extremely careless" Clinton spewed thousands of classified documents all over the internet without anyone protesting.

Well yeah.....

But she had no intent.

At least no intent that Comey could see.

What this is saying is that a person proven to be ethical is going to be head of one of the most contentious investigations in history.

That is awesome news for everyone.

I think the most likely is Podesta. He's done the exact same things Manafort was indicted for, and right now Mueller really needs to defend against accusations of bias in his probe.

However, if the rumors of a falling-out between Mueller & Comey are true, then Comey might go down for lying and/or obstruction soon.
