Al Franken announces resignation

Al Franken says he'll resign "some time in the next couple of weeks."

Stating that he finds it ironic he's resigning over these allegations against him "while a man who has admitted to sexual assault on tape and repeatedly preyed on young girls sits in the Oval Office" Franken went on to say that he didn't think he could serve the people of Minnesota while also dealing with the investigative process for the allegations.

Franken said that he's done nothing while in office to dishonor himself or the Senate, and hopes that the women who worked for him on The Hill who "may be disappointed in me today" will not lose faith in the work they've done.

Basically a long speech in which he went on the attack as often as possible and made as little mention of any personal responsibility as possible.

that's how 65% of the country feels about trump, but his sexual assaults are so loved by the right, that it got him elected president. Roy Moore's molestation of teen girls qualifies him for the senate to the point that the GOP is putting millions into his campaign.......but, who cares!!....the wealthy and the trump family, are getting their tax cuts......one other thing....for all you molesters, and kid touchers....COME TO ALABAMA!!!.....as long as you are against abortion, you can rape and molest any woman or girl you want!!!
