They are only doing it for political gain, not because they suddenly developed morals. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a backroom deal that Franken was in on.

I still want to know which Congressmen triggered payments from our Taxpayer fund to settle sex abuse allegations.

There are also several "unnamed" Congressmen being investigated now for lewd behavior on da floor of da House. The victims will be compensated out of that fund as well.
