Nah, I am a bit of a bible basher but I am certain the earth is not flat, ever put a spirit level on it?.

Seriously though it is not quite a sphere either but more like a knobbly potato thing especially if you take the oceans' away and there is no wall in the antarctic blocking an outer world like some believe, the sun does not go under the earth (though you could argue perspective with yourself as the center of the universe).

BUT in higher dimension's the earth may very well be regarded as a planer dimension, in fact we are almost two dimensional as we walk on one plane the surface of the earth governed as we are by gravity and even our limited foray into the atmosphere and earth's orbit does not remove that limitation from us really.

God is a higher dimensional being after all.

I read your neurobiology of spirituality link (the abstract of the article, not the whole thing I'm not AI). I've read a few studies like this before and generally find them interesting for sure but I have to disagree on the point:
"The neurotransmitter changes contribute to the amelioration of anxiety and depressive symptomatology". I suppose my prefrontal fatty tissues were non responsive due to my likely case of adrenal fatigue, however I dare say the kundalini yoga (don't do it!) does do SOMETHING. roll back the eyes and ACTUALLY see an eyeball. last time I do that!

Um, maybe use the search function (the little green magnifying glass in the top right corner) before you make a thread on those topics to, uh, give you an idea of how those topics fly around here.

And to avoid redundancy of course.

I've explored the avenues of everything you've mentioned yes yes and I've hit a very specific brick wall many of us come to in our travels. It's not really worth knowing that much for me now. I explored the 9 dimensional Hopi stuff via Barbara Hand Clow (even though I'm partially Choctaw..is that Kosher?)

To quote Magenta in Rocky Horror Picture Show, "I grow weary of this world!"....literally and in the sense that this world sux no matter if its a potato or a pancake and I am no better equipped than the next door neighbors of actually flying up high enough to see what it looks like, so I tend not to argue. I thought I'd place the tidbit in my intro just because it IS a part of what I find interesting, but it doesn't define me.

God is up there out of this dimension for sure. I try to imagine he's a guy sitting on my couch/standing next to me to avoid moments of "forgetting" to live like he's there. I was raised Pentecostal, tried the Jehovah's witness thing (ouch!), firmly believe the Vatican has a major beast role, and now in just the last year have realized the bible is A-MAZ-ING!! unfortunately all this censorship crack down is going to RUIN youtube for my current habits.
