02/11/05 "Moscow Times" - - The hoary adage that "there are none so blind as those who will not see" should be carved in stone at the National Press Club in Washington. Surely there can be no better motto for the cozy clubhouse of America's media mavens, who seem preternaturally incapable of recognizing the truth -- even when it stands before them, monstrous and unavoidable, like a giant Cyclops smeared with blood.

All these negative subjective words make me not want to read it...

Iraqi's seem to be much freer and happier and people died so they could have a free life while at the same time keeping attacks off our soil to keep us free and safe, aaaaand, while this is being done terror aborad doesn't seem to be as much as it was with the train bombings, school hostages, beheadings of worldwide citizens, embassy bombings, ect...

That's a positive, so this article means #e to me.

There's without a shadow of doubt that George W. Bush is and was a genocidal madman.I'm sorry to say this but it is true. All Americans should at least realise this and be aware of it.

TrueLies,it is true Iraq was much safer and peaceful then than what it is now.Freedom cannot feed the poor miserable Iraqis.Freedom cannot assure them they won't be another Saddam taking over and bringing back the dark clouds. For example, during Saddam's control, the rich people in Iraq were safe from theives because the Saddam's regime is very strict with those thieves(i.e hands chopped off).

Yes,during Saddam's days it is a miserable time for the Iraqi(the raping, murder and male domination) but at least there's order and no fighting here and there like we have nowadays in Iraq. Here's a tidbit when freedom in Iraq was declared:Hardcore porn are shown in most Iraqi cinemas!!!(even watching/possesing mild porn in Saddam's days are seen as a big crime)
is that a good thing?NO.

Whatever the matter is,Bush should be the one sitting beside Saddam and tried for war crimes.

I would love to read your own views on what you have posted, and not just some media reporters takes on what he thinks etc.

What if some foreigners died?

What kind of question is that? This dead "foreigners" have families and relatives and even loved ones whom they had to leave to stop Bush's progress. How would you feel if one of your loved ones died?Think about it.

Better them than Americans?

Typical pro-Bush mentality.

Use your brain before you post.

That is just so totally ignorant i'm not even going to dignify that with a response.

6 words: wood chippers, raping innocent women children, the list goes on.

Oh how soon you forget... I'd rather live in Bush's country then in Sadam's, and for very good reasons. Damn it, I did respond.

Good question, why don't you ask the surviving families who had an innocent family member die under Sadam's thumb because he was a paranoid schitzo.

Both Saddam and Bush are the same genocidal madman.

Saddam:The EVIL dictator who rapes, kills, laughs watching Americans die and loves invading Kuwait.

Bush:The EVIL republican who don't rape but kills, laughs watching Iraqis die and wants oil domination by any means.

Aren't they the same?I feel so sorry for you because you cannot see the similarities of this two schitzo.Truly your ignorance towards the both parties are unacceptable.Bush is a criminal.Saddam is a criminal too.

How about this, why don't we ask family members who had a family member who died under Saddam's terror and Bush's so-called operation Iraqi Freedom?

Both of them deserve to be hang if you ask me.I can prove to you that Bush is a criminal with 1001 sources but it'll just waste my time. So,I'll leave you alone.A murderer is still a murderer. No politician, president or even a dictator can run away from it.

What you're doing my friend,is denying truth not ignorance.

I rest my case.

Explain to me how this is totally ignorant?
If President Bush is innocent of war crimes then why did the United Nations declare the war he created illegitimate?
(Keep in mind that the laws the United States violated with the Iraq invasion were put in place after World War II, to make sure the world is not a witness to such events repeating.)

Answer: Because the international community cannot legitimize an action that is in direct violation of the laws they stand to protect.

From a technical stand point, yes President Bush is a viable candidate for war crimes charges. The only problem is charging and detaining a man that is surrounded by his own crack militia.

Ok about Sadam, you are right about him laughing, he does have videos on file of torture killing, raping, ect... His wife told us that thats the only way he could get off...

About Bush laughing, I haven't seen it, have you? I think your exaggerating because your emotional and reactive so you base your argument on feelings...

Laughing? please, show me proof...

Aren't they the same?I feel so sorry for you because you cannot see the similarities of this two schitzo.

I feel sorry for you because you can't see the difference between the two...
Actually I don't feel sorry, I don't "feel" anything..You just helped prove my point that you "feel" way too much. know when to feel and when to be logical.

Truly your ignorance towards the both parties are unacceptable.Bush is a criminal.Saddam is a criminal too.

Breaking the law makes you a criminal, when there is a criminal in power and the u.n doesn't do #, and america sees an injustice, the superpower is responsible to make sure people don't have to suffer..
The USSR wasn't a congenial type superpower, they were oppessive, Sadam was oppressive, the UN didn't do # because they are crooks, France didn't help out and germany didn't help out, rather they tried to get bush to back off becase they were in bed with the scumbag..

And an injustice is an injustice, a criminal is a criminal and when a criminal is in power and doesn't have anybody to answer to in his own country and the UN doesn't step up to the plate, it is the superpower's job to make sure the criminal is removed and then set on trial in his own country to be tried for all his crimes and oppression against his countrymen that he abused, murdered, and slaughtered...

That is Ignorant to do?? I don't think so.

How about this, why don't we ask family members who had a family member who died under Saddam's terror and Bush's so-called operation Iraqi Freedom?

Why don't you ask them if their family member signed up for the job "voluntarily"????????????????????????????????????

What you're doing my friend,is denying truth not ignorance.

Ditto my little chia pet.

I think all leaders of government have their own crackpot miltia, your government could come in and take bush out if they really wanted to, but they aren't...You should ask yourself why.

If i was near you i would spit on you for your racism, intolernace, narrow mindedness and dam right stupidity.
The funny thing is though, you would never hear a liberal say "death to all republicans" because a real liberal would just want the republican to open his eyes, not blow his brains out.

So sad when some of my fellow Americans tried to avoid the cost of a force war on a sovereign country.

Yes the force democracy has cost a very significant share of death from both sides.

Perhaps more from the Iraqi side than the American.

People rejoiced on the killings all for democracy.

But as you can see democracy will elude the Iraqi survivors, there will be an Islamic theocracy.

It will be more to come, while one group now claim victory in Iraq from oppression another group will become the oppressed.

It is not up to my countries government to charge G.W.Bush with war crimes, besides Australia is a willing participant so our Government leaders are just as susceptible.

The problem is to be resolved by the UN itself under the guidelines of international law; however the UN is not powerful enough to complete the task of law. Your President has put himself in a position where such laws cannot touch him or his cabinet, and has inadvertently send a message to the world that if you are more powerful then the laws you live by, you have the right to go above them.

The UN had the reigns but guess what, they decided to play paddycake and dick around and dick around and do NOTHING!!

Have you seen the U.N's constitution for all the world's people??

It's really amazing to see because it sounds all nice and fluffy, yet the UN is a bunch of lazy ass crackpots who don't do # when they should...

If they can't handle a serious matter such as this, then someone else needs to take over the reigns, and nobody else was willing to step up to the plate so Bush had to say enough is enough...

No wonder Sadam was laughing all the time... He even saw them as a joke...

what A bunch of crap. You need to be a real jackass to believe this. So we remove Saddam, he was like an arab stalin lite. He killed hundreds of thousands of his own people and was directly responsible for the deaths of maybe a million or more in wars he started. but it is GW Bush and America who are the genocidal, imperialistic, war mongering, blood for oil poeple. So keep defending the real dictators and killers. History will prove GW Bush and the United States to be right.
