A cuban man, Benito Martinez, is anywhere from 119 to 123 years old. He was born in Haiti, and worked in the sugar fields, and is now living in Puerto
Rico.
He may be able to credit his long life to not smoking, and eating well. He is is good health, can still walk, and is very alert. While others show
age in their 40's, he does not even look 100!

Benito Martinez says he is 123 years old, while Cuban experts believe he is just four years younger than that.
If that is proved, he will comfortably break the world record. The current record holder is 113 and lives on the Caribbean territory of Puerto Rico.
He was presented to the world by the Cuban government at the inaugural meeting of what it calls the '120 Club'.
Cuba says that with its free healthcare, it is the best place in the world for men and women to grow old.

This man, proves that not smoking and drinking can increase your lifespan, along with eating well, having fun, and staying mobile. He is a testament
to 'living right'.
He has been inducted into a club called the "120 Club", where he will be the oldest member. This club was started by Fidel Castro.
If any other thing may have added to his long life it may be, his sense of humor, and refusing to stop particapating in activities.
Even if he younger he is, the oldest man alive.
