Reality vs excuses is what i heard.The rebuttal offered no solutions only blame. Grow up, you know the society and how it works. Chose to stand outside and attack it and the result is conclusive. Then bitch about why you're not accepted. That's pretty damn stupid. 50 years on and no change. What does that tell you?

Tooo late. The damage done. I have never seen americans so divided into so many tiny little enclaves of thought and culture. One only has to look at what passes for 'Reality' on current TV programs, Film, Gaming, Religion, and 'Social' Media' to see what concerns people the most.

The number of 'Genres' of thought and allegiance to current 'mores' is unbelievable.

I have 0 stake in the game anymore, watching the sun set on the world of light into an era of total darkness.

I like the message and I think the majority of it is true. There is one thing I disagree with though. You never have to do illegal things to put food on the table. That is a choice, not a requirement.

If a white person talks in ghetto slang with a black twang in their voice they are "perpetuating a stereotype". But if you go the ghetto and listen, that is exactly how the people there are speaking. Its not a stereotype - its just observation. If that observation is embarrassing or insulting to you maybe you need to change the way you communicate to something less embarrassing.

My husband just introduced me to this rapper and this video. I cried at the end. It’s such a powerful message. I love to dance so I appreciate hip hop, good hip hop that is. This guy is putting out positive messages imo. I can’t stop listening to his other songs now.. thanks for posting this. I know this is an older thread but it’s great!
