Great music video I watched a friend of mine shared on Facebook.

Also this is the kind of music I enjoyed listening to growing up with Nas and Tupac and Korn, music that touched the soul and not this garbage we have now over the airwaves. Kinda like how the old timers are always talking about 1970's rock. Touched their soul.



Weather you like hip hop music or not I highly recommend watching and listening to the video. They give a great breakdown of our current cultural split from both sides of the perspective and end with a message we can all dig.

I'm not going to give a detailed description of the video because I think you need to watch it and if you can't that's just because you don't want to.

Stereotypes exist for a reason. I think the video touched on all of them.

I think the artist was pointing out that even though all of these things may be true to an extent and many of them are they are just reasons for us to become divided when we should be working together to achieve a better reality for everyone.

Not sure what to say, not what i expected from a rap video, but i like how it makes you feel something, well it did for me.

Oh yea sorry if it sounded bad, i was just not expecting the result the video had on me, good message, with an intent that most of us can understand.

I think the intent of music is to tap into the emotions, that's why I like listening to classical music and singing bowls and things like that

that's also why the music industry has been usurped and a lot of todays music is total garbage dragging people down at young ages

Couple of things.

This video goes directly to the heart of the worst possible examples of how people treat each other.

By no means is it an everyday occurrence to have all these media pushed scenarios crop up for debate, maybe certain college classes.

Listen to the lyrics and it is all super stereotypical hog wash.

Aww so sweet they hug at the end. You get a white racist and a black activist in the same room goin at each other like that, they be a race riot.

Having said that I agree with the ending screen shot. We are all human, don't let the controllers divide us.

It seems that people being on defense drives a wedge between people more than race does. White people viewing blacks as trying to take away the rights of us by using political correct speech is happening, Blacks committing crimes should not be given any special consideration in court because of their color either. White people committing crimes should also be punished for their crimes. Certain sects in our society seem to be getting extra favors from out legal system, the upper middle class and upper class. They more often just pay fines and do no time, they do not have to do illegal things to survive either.

The rest of us are not priviledged, neither black or white, red or yellow. We are all surfs working to make other people rich. We feel we are rich when we have money left over after paying our bills for the month, when you are poor, there is no or very little money left over, what is left is going to be needed shortly for something. You may have to ration things for a while before money comes in, sometimes there is nothing to eat for a while... Sometimes it is either pay your bills or eat, no other choice.

That is really good and speaks a lot of truth. One way to close the divide is by both sides cleaning up their own houses first. I'm also reminded of the words of a great man, "It is better to understand than to be understood . . . It is better to love than to be loved."
