Former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi finally agreed to dismantle his nuke program and what does the U.S. do? Invade and topple the regime under the NATO flag.

Strategically, this was the single dumbest thing Obama and Hillary Clinton ever concocted. What lesson did North Korea learn from this? Their lesson was to never ever compromise on their nuclear program. To do so would be regime suicide. The consequences for Obama administration’s thoughtless decision is enormous. The Obama administration’s stupidity has essentially set the table for WW3.

North Korea is not stupid. Crazy? Yes. Stupid? Definately not. They witnessed what happened to Gaddaffi once he agreed to dismantle his nuke program. Heck, the North Koreans were even in cohorts with them. The later toppling of Gaddaffi only proves to North Korea that nukes are the only option for their survival. It is all they have left and it will not end pretty.

In a utopic and perfect world I'd like to live, no one would have nuclear weapons.

But if only Japan had nuclear weapons in the WWII...

I don't think anyone else wants to face the same fate.

The Counsel of Foreign Relations defines foreign policy for both parties. Stop blaming the Democrats. The Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats. If you think otherwise you are being delusional.

For once I agree with you...

How many years have both parties caved to lil Kimmy's demands and gave them money/aid?

This problem had been developing for years. At this point though, it's hard to say to just go attack. Millions of lives would be lost in SK, and possibly Japan just because. Not only that, when you factor in that our own military is not sure if we could win a fight swiftly with minimum casualties and our Navy had mechanical problems all over... And if I'm correct, a lot of the plans they have are defunct and out of service.

you made that assertion and agreed to it, then drew your conclusion.. all out of thin air.

guess the amount of missiles the US tests per year?

what law is NK breaking by building a missile defense system against countries who 'invade' other countries in the modern world

I don't see him shifting blame. I see him recognizing the true enemy of the American people. If anything he should have noted how many members of the MSM are in the CFR. The same MSM that admitted they "misled" the American people on Iraq and are now trying to whip up fear and hysteria insinuating that Crazy Kim wants to nuke the world and can do it tomorrow if we don't stop him.

If anyone should be blamed, it should be the Americans gullible enough to swallow this tripe. Do we really need to kill another million innocent people over "weapons of mass destruction?" Can the US economy afford another regime change operation? Can we even care for the wounded vets we already have? Are we going to have to open up a new Gitmo in the South Pacific to torture more people? What rights are we going to have to give up for this war?

Whatever president happens to be in charge makes no difference to anything, they are backed by those who have the money and power and will continuously want more and more which basically translates to war and war.

Why should any country compromise with such a hideous regime, I salute North Korea and any other country that stands up to the U.S.

Obviously you have no family members in a North Korean gulag. You should consider living there.

Usual response, I have no friends being illegally detained in Guantanamo Bay or being subjected to evil CIA influenced torture techniques either. And I don't have any family members who are the victims of one of the worst acts of terrorism this planet has ever seen, namely drones, thankfully.

North Korea may be guilty of a few things, but I bet the list is nothing compared the crimes of the U.S.

Did you had any family or friends living in Japan when they dropped the nuclear bomb in there?

Strategically, this was the single dumbest thing Obama and Hillary Clinton ever concocted.

Hillary and Obama didn't 'concoct it', the international banking cartel did. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Qaddafi threatened to unite Africa, provide independent banking, satellite communications and sell oil for gold instead of Petro Dollars.

The Bigs cannot allow that. Africa is to remain divided and weak to exploit for natural resources.

Other nations not yet in the Cartel fold are Iran, 'North' Korea, Syria, Russian and China.

North Korea knows its on the list, knows full well what that means. Why do we think they are developing a nuclear deterrent?

Well like I said, you should go live there. I am not trying to be a wise guy...you should really go live there. You seem to have what it takes to be a success in North Korea and an attitude towards the regime that would surely be welcomed.

If I was you I would seriously consider it. You will most likely get a nice little apartment in the heart of Pyongyang and would appear on their one TV channel daily to talk crap about the Western World. It is a win-win for you and NK. I dont know what your waiting for. Unfortunately....we won’t be hearing from you on ATS anymore but we’ll get through it somehow.

If you don't understand that the aggressor of almost every conflict of meaning on this planet is the U.S., then you've obviously being sold an inaccurate account of history or choose to ignore the facts, save your words

Maybe the N.K dont have any oil, like Isis.

Russia was the early bird when it came to bombing the # the out them, even though, on CNN, they were saying ISIS this, Isis that, big problem here an there.

For like idk, a whole year an then some while people were probably crying out to the West, only to be beaten by a beast from the east, while Isis was only threatening the best!?

I think China an N.k are going to be very busy with there own set of problems. Like plagues or very bad weather.

Foreign policy wise, yes this and the Iran deal were Obama's biggest blunders. No hope anyone will voluntarily give up WMD after this.

Yah right, "go live there". Go now and live there. After the aggressive war of conquest waged in the 50s by the US, after decades of Blockade, Embargo and Sanctions, after the spying, the oppression, the threat of new war any day for seventy five years yah, go live there.

See what disconnected, disenfranchised and bullied people they have become, cowering in fear in their little spit of peninsula domain, waiting for the US Super Power Axe to fall.
