GatewayPundit Journalist Lucian Wintrich Puts woman in headlock sparking melee gets arrested

UCONN had what appeared to be a small get together for what was billed as a talk about "identity politics". From the videos that have been posted, it appears that perhaps he was being a bit provocative. A woman approached the podium and took a copy of the script he was using. At this point, Lucian evidently lost his composure and put the female student in a headlock. That is when cops grabbed him, put him in handcuffs and arrested him.

Why did he let her get so far away and then decide to do something is what I was asking my self.

I wonder if the girl got arrested for stealing?

I watched it.

I would have fired the cops if I were there station chief as they appear to be in on/with the crowd. I don't really care what the guy was saying, you don't troll people like that. Done with the woman card thing, they are equal now.

Because he was embarrassed that she took his notes in front of everyone. That's why he ended up going after her as well, his pride was hurt.

He wasn't intellectually adapt enough to properly defend himself in that situation so he regressed to violence.
He's also a coward is my guess.

Let me get this straight, you are fine with a man physically attacking a woman, that's says a lot about you doesn't it.

It's likely that I don't agree with anything the speaker said. But, it is his right to say it. And I support that right. If the students wanted to protest, that's fine. But it would probably be more meaningful for everyone if they engaged in debate, rather than this type of childish behavior.

The girl grabbed his paper and started walking off with it. That was theft of his property and started the melee.

In the same situation, given the crowded room, I'm not sure that I would have responded any differently than he did.

That wasn't a headlock though. He grabbed her to get to his paper, and it escalated from there.

Doesn't that statement contradict the whole women should be treated as equals to men thing, aside from the fact that he didn't attack her, he was trying to get his property back from a thief. Are you fine with people being thieves?

That's not a 'headlock.' It's a feeble-looking guy trying to reach over an arrogant woman's shoulder to snatch back what she took from him. She's a woman with a good 2 or 3 stones advantage on the guy. It's more like school bullying with the weakling crying, "Give it back, give it back" and having no chance whatsoever.

I've never heard of the guy although he's described as 'far right' and is probably an asshole. That doesn't give her the right to decide whether or not he gets to do his speech. It'd be better if neither of these horrible types of people existed in society, right? Who needs dictators or bigots?! Thankfully we live in a free society in spite of these people.

Seriously is that where we are now, you actually think that a thief doesn't deserve a beat down, which is not what happened at all mind you. If you call that beating up a women you need to be introduced to some people that actually beat up women.

Not to long ago a football player knocked his girl friend out in an elevator, and she didn't even steal from him. I just think all thieves should be treated equal.
