They want stability (such as it is) in North Korea. They do not want any sort of disruption which would cause a surge of refugees from North Korea and it serves as a nice buffer between US allies and China..

New stuff, actually.

While acknowledging the rocket engine used to launch North Korea's most recent intercontinental ballistic missile is the same as the type of engine used by Ukraine-made space vehicles, Ukrainian space agency director Yurii Radchenko said the RD-250 engine technology transferred to North Korea was once used to power Cyclone-2 and Cyclone-3 space rockets supplied to Russia.

www.upi.com...

Oh man what the hell were they thinking?

Not that selling old rocket engines to north korea would somehow be more ethical.

Oh man what the hell were they thinking?

They wanted to help North Korea with its space exploration program?

Some sort of black market dealing seems more likely. But hard to imagine.

Here is a quick question before bed, where is North Korea getting uranium? Do they have it as a natural resource ? Is China, giving it to them? What countries want North Korea to be nuclear? They have the rockets and uranium how?

1) From Russia, originally, they can probably produce their own weapons grade stuff now.
2) No country wants North Korea to have nuclear weapons. Some probably don't care.
3) Russia and China, originally. Current rocket engines may be from Ukraine. They are capable of back-engineering and could be working on their own.

Yes, quite a bit of speculation. But reasonable.

OMFG we're all gonna die!!!

No, no we're not.

The release of nuclear weapons on humans won't be allowed to happen by North Korea, or anyone else.

I always have 4 months of dry goods in my home. Water would be my issue but hey I live in a place that rains like every day.

So ... you will be drinking irradiated water. It will kill you that much faster. Buy an extra carton of bottled water each week.

You're safe, in the Southern Hemisphere.

Sorry. The trailer sucks. But you know what I'm talking about.

Isn't it funny how for years they said they couldn't get info from No Korea, now all of a sudden,if Kim decides to scratch his ass, they know which hand?,more MSM BS,kind of like a 12 yr old sitting in his room, telling a 16 yr old he is gonna kick his ass

I was wondering where this NK business went as it kinda got lost from the mainstream media news sites!

And the Harry announced he was getting married... thought we'd only hear about the Royal wedding from now till it was over.

Back to Kim jung Un/NK and their missiles.

Time to act. Have the South Koreans evacuate the northern suburbs of Seoul, which are the only place the North Korean artillery can reach.

it`s good that the greatest generation ,grew some balls and, stopped appeasing hitler when they did or the world would have faced this problem of a psycho rogue nation with nukes a long time ago.Too bad no generation since then has had the balls to prevent it from happening.

Right.. because Hitler taking Austria and Czechoslovakia, followed by the invasion of Poland, is EXACTLY like the situation in NK, where Kim has attacked.. no one. Wait.. it's completely different. Well.. nice try, horrible example. "Having balls" (which seems to be Trump's followers mantra), at the sake of possibly millions of lives, just because of a perceived threat, is for lack of a better word.. stupid.

Why are people so eager for war? I guess it's the "ballsy" thing to do, even if it doesn't make sense.

Said for long time,

China is key to ending this NK threat without going to open warfare.

We either talk them into it in their own best interest or we hold their economy in hostage till they reign in problem they created - a problem that's gotten out of hand.

Refuse some container ships port entry, stop banking exchange and see who blinks first.

I like the old saying, owe a banker a thousand dollars and he owns you - owe a banker billions and you own him.

China is correlation.

Sans that it's gonna be war sooner or later, probably sooner.

War I don't want, war that'll be bad all way around.

Out on the street you've basically got a thug with a gun pointed at you and threatening to shoot you, not once but many times repeatedly. A thug who's seemingly bent on suicidal thoughts of grandjeur.

Are you going to sing "Kumbaya" to him and trust he's not going to shoot.

That's just not good policy for a nation to have.

I'd rather pressure be put on his buddy China and see if they can take away his gun first.

Meanwhile mines out and ready.

Heck even the Canadians are restocking cold war era bunkers - that ought to tell ya something.

It is funny isn't it, since fake news has become all the rage, people literally believe anything. Those selling the news know this and are taking full advantage.

What gets me is how the ignorant Anti-American liberal MSM (CNN / MSNBC to be exact) think that there would be a Nuclear War between the U.S. and North Korea. Those idiots have no concept of what RATIONAL LOGICAL thinking is.
