I wrote that thread the other day. I have spent two days making this dub reggae track for Tosh1 (Jawara McIntosh) who was beaten into a coma while serving a year sentence for marijuana possession in Boston. The thread describes what happened and all.

I do everything on the track. I play all the instruments. I sampled some of Jawara's rapping while he was giving an interview. It is mainly instrumental with just occasional vocal.

I worked very hard on it. It is a way for me to focus my emotions and anger positively.

God bless. Look out for each other, especially in prison. Don't let anyone make an animal of you, ok!

I am absolutely knackered. Have not eaten yet today and it is midnight almost. I hardly ate yesterday. I'm off to have a healthy omelette and salad.

Small petty crime leads to a coma in jail. It then leads you to do this music in honor of the one in a coma.

Musicians have always had a way to touch another humans heart. It shows in your music.

Hey, this is very good. I enjoyed listening very much. I liked the break in the middle and how you came back with a slightly different vibe.

And of course the best part about it is channeling negativity into hard work and using the creative process- nothing better than that!

That's awesome. I really enjoyed that. Heavy bass! Is that your own riddim? The bassline sounds familiar. Do you have any more tracks you've recorded?

I didn't listen to it. I guess I'm a fuddy-duddy, but I wanted to tell you how sweet it is of you to do this.

What a nice guy!

Very nice.

Loving how the third minute sounds like a dub version of running water. Takes me back to Ozric's Tentacles and Funki Porcini.
