You cant time travel to the past because of spatial relocation againsy the cosmic background. There is no static object in the cosmos, everything is moving all the time. If we could travel 10 years in the past, we would have to find out EXACTLY where earth was to have your tine machine not just place you in empty space, or halfway into some object.

Considering how everything in the universe is simultainiously moving, it is quite impossible to place exactly where anything is without using some other MOVING object as a point of reference. To try to pinpoint any "coordinate" of the cosmos to place someone in is impossible.

You cant tell me where the Earth was in space ten years ago without mentioning any other object in space. Unlike earth, there is no longitude or lattitude for space.

Unless your vehicle/time machine acted as an achor point, but then you would always exit from the machine, thusly you cant go back before the time machine was first turned on.

Therefore, these people are hoaxers. All of them.

I guess the question is, how would we locate the exact position in space to program our time machine, as to where we wanted to travel? There's no GPS for the Universe? I love the idea of time travel, for me there are too many variables...

Its simple. You cant locate any exact position in space. Any time machine into the past myst be utilaized as an anchor point. Unless you put the free fall trajectories of our entire galaxy into a quantum computer and reverse all of them x amount of years.

Time travel just isn't possible If I leave today's date and go back to say when the Dino's where around that would mean the entire world present day had to revert back . It would have to be interdenominational meaning a different plane of time which you could not guarantee it was the same past as this denominational plane .

If you listen to the guy in one of the videos, he talks about how tourist time travel is done in things similar to airplanes. Military time travel is done differently, and is much more painful. Area 51 is named that because we are the 51st time district. So why would time travel and tourist airplanes have anything to do with Area 51? Well maybe it is because UFO's are time travelers from our future! Even the grey aliens could be from a far-off future where their environment has been devastated and possibly nuked. That is why they look similar to humans, but maybe evolved humans, losing a bit along the way.

The government could be trying to distract us with the UFO stuff to make us think these guys are from other planets, maybe they are from the future.

Especially the one about it being interdenominational... So... It's part Catholic and part Protestant?

Honestly though interdenominational is far less stupid than interdimensional which is what he MEANT to say.... Which is just plain stupid and wrong as he was talking about parallel universes and just calling it "another dimension".

Because dimension is like nano, a word stupid people love to use because they think it makes them sound smart... But it doesn't because they use it interchangeably for every single damn thing they're too stupid to wrap their head around. (Which also means it MUST be impossible because they personally can't understand it)

At least interdenominational is freaking hilarious

I'm very wary of YouTube videos. Probably a hoax. But if true, that would be cool. What would it take to sign up to become a traveler?

I too have had these thoughts - that UFOs and Aliens are just us visiting from the future.

So if you were a visitor from the future what would your experience be? Jump back to Area 51, a quick "sightseeing" dash around the planet and then back home again? Or could other things be going on?

Or secret deals with a "select few" from the future to make sure that their plans to keep those pesky useless eaters in the dark remains so?

Bunch of bull****, as usual. If this supposed guy "woke up in a hospital" so many years in the future and the hospital not having records of the guy or anything, they wouldn't just let him walk out especially after the grandiose story he supposedly gave. It's almost like logic is thrown out when it comes to these things.

You people will believe anything on youtube.

Time Travel is not and never will be possible... at least not "physically". A simple understanding of quantum physics and the expansion of space will reveal this as an inevitable truth.

Space (both macro-cosmically and micro-cosmically) expands at varying rates depending on the interaction of gravity and it's distance from zero point. On average, this is X=D(2.4*10^-18)^s which creates a tiny bit of misalignment of atoms the further forward or the further backward you go in time. This is to say that the moment you travel from one point to another point in time, the atoms instantly try to realign creating anything from extreme heat to intense radiation [depending on how far in time you go] due to the instant and violent vibration (frequency) of those atoms. This is not even mentioning the fact that an instant appearance of an object in space that tries to displace the space that is already there will result in an explosion similar to that of a small nuclear blast (or a very large one if that object was much bigger). This is also not to mention the many paradoxes and other impossible solutions.

This is not to say that time travel is not possible in other terms (via different methods) but the facts will identify the mentioned time travelers simply as hoaxes and attention-seekers. Not to mention that the first video you posted is just a kid in an old man mask trying to sound like an old man. That can't be any more obvious.

If you want to time travel... stick to remote viewing. Maybe some of the hoaxers there might actually figure out why their methods aren't working yet. Figuring that out takes a little bit more than just seeking attention as well. But that gets into a much uglier story.

I've always wondered about "time traveling in the future", sad to say, there is no proof that is can possibly exist, for we as humans have only one life span here on Earth.

You are going on the assumption that time is linear, that it flows from point A to point B. That is a human trait that we will someday lose.

What if your lifetime was a piece of string and you joined the two ends together to form an enclosed loop, and using technology, you could visit any point in time on that loop?

There is always that one person in here who thinks that you have to know everything about everything in order to answer an obvious question. It's not possible. PERIOD. Why do I have to know how much eggs cost in Texas in order to answer that? Your comment is typical of someone who believes everything they see on YouTube.

Actually he was commenting on how stupid and ... Yeah stupid the reasoning behind their hard and fast proclamations were.

Well and the general FACT that at this point we lack quite a bit of key knowledge about a whole host of things to say with certainty that it is either for sure possible or for sure impossible at this point...

Now personally, I BELIEVE it's likely impossible for much the same and or similar reasons as you do. (Aka even if you could somehow get the locational fix etc you'd still need to put just horrific amounts of energy into very small spaces which tends to cause bad s***)

But I'm not going to say I KNOW FOR SURE that it's either possible or impossible, because I don't!

Neither do you, neither does anybody that we know of!

I noticed many of the same videos a few weeks ago. I also noticed a couple other things. I thought one company was behind many of these video productions which makes me think hoax or fiction. If time travel is open to the public in 2028, what will stop people from traveling back in time with a book of stock prices to become billionaires in the past? If time travel is invented and I can use it, I plan to make a fortune but not sure how you can stop millions of others from attempting the same. In addition in the one video the guy was supposedly ex CIA drafted out of retirement.

If he had been in the CIA you would think he would be smart enough to get more useful information than vague descriptions. I would expect copies of patents, stock charts, world history notes, details of inventions all stored on a thumb drive or small portable device along with the device. Instead he comes back with vague descriptions of the future. This resembles a fake story in my opinion.

You can't GO to the "future"...

...It hasn't HAPPENED yet. Duh. The "future" UNFOLDS out of infinite possibilities.

You might be able to go to a parallel reality that SEEMS like it's further along, but thats it.

See that's the problem with time travel talk right there!

Even when everyone is doing their best to keep it from happening, all time travel discussions always eventually jump off the tracks of physics and then jump the shark completely into metaphysics

Time travel is only a few years away. We’ve just gotten teleportation down in the last decade, but it’s not yet consistent. (Here’s another example of it).
This was supposed to involve several people but only 1 got through.

You could not be further from the truth. There is a lot of BS posted here (and elsewhere), but to make a blanket statement that something is not possible is to suggest that you know EVERYTHING about the nature of reality. You may be absolutely right in your statement regarding time travel being an impossibility, but I prefer to sit on the fence with this one.

It's worth pointing out here that my original comment had nothing to do with any YouTube video. Looking at it again, I can understand why you would think that I believe everything that I see and hear on the internet, but that is not the case.

Thing is you asked some pretty reasonable questions and there's been discussion of it being some sort of marketing effort or etc.

Really, the whole thread has been remarkably balanced except for the outbursts of the people telling everybody else they know for sure one way or another whether time travel exists or not.

What those posts did, and always do, is drag the discussion away from all the other potentially fruitful and interesting places it could go and onto the same old boring path they always seem to go these days.

It's truly a pity, but many of us here still very much appreciated that you put in the effort and are grateful for the interesting thoughts and avenues of research this has opened.
