A Messiah earns his reward by their actions and their beliefs, not because of a blood line or name. It is not our choice who is chosen for that role.

The Messiah did not earn 'His' reward. He earned OURS. God doesn't have to 'earn' anything.

And no, it isn't our choice who was picked. He's already picked Himself. God who became man to pay for all our sins.

Of course there are people who want us to believe that he has to be of a certain blood line, they are wrong though, they want their people to be the most important.

He is specifically noted all throughout the bible as being from the line of David. It's just how it is whether you like it or not. Jew. Yep.

If deceivers succeed in corrupting a person then that person cannot be a Messiah until he gets back in good standing with the authors or angels and with the supreme consciousness.

Jesus never says he can move mountains, he could only do miracles with living things by altering the organism's programming.

You can heal this way, he had that ability. What power would you have if you could communicate with every living cell alive and were able to steer a millionth of the power of every living cell in the world?

You can heal others this way in HIS NAME and - if you've been given the gift. Though I suppose if you had enough faith you could in His name without having that specific spiritual gift.

Elijah and one other. Two prophets. There are conflicting ideas of who exactly they will be though.

Just because the prophecy says it will be Elijah does not mean it will literally be Elijah himself.

When everyone thinks of Anti-Christ, they picture Tim Curry's portrayal of the Devil from Legend, but I think it will be far more insidious. Lucifer appears even as an angel of light, even as the messiah himself if he can fool you.

I think he will tell you that you can love whoever, however you want if only you love him back. Anything goes. He'll forgive anything if only you love him.

Well, the Anti-Christ cannot make Jesus the Messiah 'corrupt'.

No power above the earth below or anywhere else can 'corrupt' Christ.

The Anti-Christ will though - corrupt the people 'left behind'.

No. He can't directly corrupt Christ himself, but he can and will lie and deceive and take a grain of truth and attach the lie.

I think there is a lot of truth to the end if I Pet Goat II - the counterfeit messiah, counterfeit miracles.

I think the world will be in bad, bad shape and he will rise up and present what looks like the promised Utopia on earth so many will be waiting for. Look around at New Age philosophy, even the Jews are still waiting for the first Advent, and there are so many other places primed for a messiah type figure. He will come, he will seem to work miracles, he will offer solutions - the beautiful socialist society everyone says is possible. The controlled economy that necessitates the mark.

Think about it.

People will *want* to go into his system more than needing to be terrified into it. They will willingly persecute those who don't want any part of it. It will be very, very hard for people to justify staying clear. We can already see the roots of it setting up in societal behaviors today.

A system run by the naked face of pure evil can't pull that off. Only the deceptive face that appears benevolent can do that. They don't call the Father of Lies for nothing!

But only benevolent if you give yourself to it, love it, worship it.

We know better. We know to be on guard against the first one no matter what face it wears.

We are already under the reign of Christ.

One daytime is 1000 years. Meaning Christ comes every day and reigns for the daytime.
