I'm a little depressed, the world is depressing what can I say, I am a fool. I trust too much. I tell the truth too much, and I definitely don't trust Men anymore, at all. I'm so done but, I have class and good taste. So, here's to all my heart broken and damaged Sisters out there and the few honest Men still left..

This song gave me solace. I hope it gives someone out there solace too. Someone that deserves it

I really love this song. They used to play it at the rec center when I was a kid. It has gained so much more perspective than a catchy tune, over time. Lyrically meaningful. Definitely not like songs today. Thank you for sharing it, and may you be at peace and find meaning.

Sseriously, the heart is a funny thing. You know when you love someone, but then they deceive you. And you're lost, all over again. I'm done. I'd become a Eunich if I was a guy. But being a Woman, i'll just spend the rest of my life alone, wishing my soul mate had come to me, but never did. And then I'll die by the age of 60 never knowing what could have been but never was. In my next life, I will be God. Retribution!

Sorry to hear about someone breaking your trust and your heart. But very careful how you generalize men. Your depression may be a signal to you that you have issues that need to be worked out. Maybe there's something you need to work on. Some kind of baggage from a previous relationship that is driving to you unconsciously to men who might have trouble keeping trust in their relationships. I only say this in the hope maybe this insight will help your from getting your heart broken again.

Thank you. I know why i'm feeling this way though. Years of experience! Love lost to death. Love lost to deceit. Love isn't for me. I think, I'm meant to be alone until I am gone. No one will remember me. I'm Important to no one. I dont mind, i'm used to it. Thank you.

You can only laugh for so long, and then, reality sets in, and then grief. Ever wonder why so many Comedians are suicicidal? They laugh to keep themselves from dying. That's the reality of it.

The truth is, absolutely everyone you meet carries their own secret pain. Once you realize that, you can see past your own and be some good for others.

You'll find the diamonds are most likely the ones who also care and don't have their own 'angle' to pursue.

"Turn of a Friendly Card" - Probably my favorite Parsons album (but "I Robot" & "Pyramid" were good too). It's more apt to me now because I'm older. I can appreciate the lure of a "last hurrah" as one slides into a quiet old age.

I met the love of my life when I was in my 30s and he was in his 60s. I felt roughly how you do, I had never been loved or truly loved back.
He is and was perfect for me, and me for him. We've packed a lot of love into the time we got. Huge road trips, companionship, mutual acceptance.


Love hurts. Realistically we dont have much longer together, and ill be alone. We were too old for kids together. I fear what we have will be meaningless in time. Ive kids from an early disastrous marriage.

If you can learn trust, and keep an open mind, you never know who is round the corner. Careful what you wish for, loving and being loved knowing its finite is excruciating.
