People *are* different than they were 20 years ago, but those people are different from people who came before them, who were different than those that came before them, and so on, ad infinitum. Different formative experiences interact with the life-cycle and aging process to shape people’s view of the world. I doubt time/space ruptures and Mandela effects have anything to do with it.
