the crystal sphere does not represent Earth...the solid glass object is used for Scrying, what we call a 'crystal ball'... Nostradamus used the black-bowl-of-water technique for his Scrying journeys

Curiously enough, even though Da Vinci was very interested in the refractive qualities of glass and the spectrum hidden within white light, the "crystal" sphere shows none of the refractive distortion that you would expect from a sphere like that. So it likely represents... something else?

What do the star patterns match?

It's not anyone's money but his/hers. Why does anyone care?

If I had spare cash layin' around, I'd buy art, too. It's a good investment, as they seldom depreciate in value. Unless you got totally rooked...

As for wishing him death? Really? WTF, people.

For many years the ultra wealthy used artwork as a tax shelter. They would buy it, hold on to it, donate it to a charity, get some kind of write off, I forget the whole speel but they did it with LLama farms too. They are starting to crack down on it but there must still be some loopholes.

In the 1980s collectable car/pedigreed horse scam went person A purchased item for X amount sold to person B for XX amount.B sold to C for XXX amount who sold to D and so on. Finally last person to buy the item for XXXXXXXXXXXXX amount (usually bought on a loan with the item as collateral) defaults (usually when the next recession hits or the tax laws change) and the lender is left holding the item which is in reality only worth X or XX.
