He is a crony capitalist, not a free-market capitalist.

If you learn to understand the difference, maybe an intelligent conversation can commence.

Taking a look at the Paradise Papers, before that the Panama Papers. Now tell me the difference between a Crony and a Free-Market capitalist. Is there even one?

All are taking all measures to reap what they didn't sow - in the eyes of some people. In the eyes of others, they did sow.

And a final point: he didn't do anything illegal. The people mentioned in the P.P. (any papers of this kind) didn't do anything illegal. Do you call Bono a crony capitalist, too? Okay, it isn't his underwriting on the lines but those of his accountants, but he must care about his financial affairs, too.

Are you joking? What do you think has been going on for the past year here in the US with respects to The President of the United States, Donald J. Trump?

Farage has faced NOTHING compared to what Trump has faced in terms of never ending ridicule and disrespect. Not even close. And yet those like Trump and Farage will endure the petrified idiocy by those on the left who fear the expose that is unfolding in front of us. Farage has done a fine damn job with exposing the EU elitists and their cabal of lies.

The balls on this man to make those statements was Herculean. Well done mate.

I guess you only read the first line of my post?

I think "they'd" like you to believe Farage is a joke in the UK.

That's what "they" do----belittle the truth and the truth tellers. But people all over the world have respect for Farage---far more than you or anyone else realizes or is willing to admit.

That video made me wonder how many posters here at ATS are PPP for Open Society Foundations ?

It's insane how compromised message boards like these are in late 2017, I was just reading about a troll factory in Russia, people hired at very good pay to post and write all day everyday. With the tech to mask who and where they are.

Anyone who uses their vast wealth and accumulated power to try and influence politicians and legislation in their favor is a crony capitalist, IMO...especially when much of their money goes toward candidates and PACs and lobbying efforts.

Yes, America and the world suffers from many people like this, but America also has many people who are free-market capitalists in how they run their businesses as well, so to interject hyperbole in the form of, "Is there even a [difference between crony and free-market capitalism," is absurd and removes all worth in discussing the matter further.

And I never claimed that Soros is a criminal--he unethical as sh*t, and has nefarious motivations in how he uses his money to influence government, but I never once said that he's done anything illegal. BUT, just because he hasn't been caught doesn't mean that he hasn't. I'd tread lightly on making such assertive claims about his hands being clean from illegalities.

I think this is the exact point Nigel Farage was trying to make and he confirmed that on his live radio show on LBC.

While Soros has not done anything illegal (as far as we are aware), it all needs to be transparent and the media needs to be fair in their reporting!

Why the media constantly bringing up this Russian interference with the US elections, while Soros spent $17 BILLION on lobbying the EU, why is that not being reported by the media too? Or how about Obama coming over to the UK and threatening us to vote Remain or we will be back of the queue in trade! Now that is a FACT and IS interfering with our elections! But I guess that's OK because it's not the Russians...

Oh please don't take smurfy's word for it, he really doesn't know what he is talking about.

Go on youtube and listen to Nigel Farage fantastic speeches over the past two decades and make you own mind. You will see he has been on the side of ordinary people of the WORLD (not just British people). You will also notice he sticks up for other Europeans citizens more so than their own weak, easily corruptible politicians.

Yeah...of all the countries to complain about other countries interfering with their elections, we should not be first in line due to the hypocrisy of it all.

Finally someone who dares to name those responsible for bribing politicians. And those who took the money should be fired immediately and kicked out of any party within the union as within their own party as well! And who's that guy that seems to enjoy all of it?

No no no!

Don't you know anything!

18 billion dollars from Soros is ok and couldn't make any change anyways.

Working with British spies to collude with Russians against trump, that's ok too.

Foreign money and influence is always ok and no big deal as long as it supports a globalist agenda.

So that 18 billion is no big deal.

Now 100 thousand dollars in Facebook ads from russia, that is a real evil plot that stole the election from Hillary.

Gramb..... like always brother you are spot on

He has deliberately destabilized governments in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Russia, France and England…for self-enrichment.

Let me educate you with a few quotes from the great man about his own actions.

During a 60 minutes interview he said this " Disrupting repressive regimes (his view) was a lot of fun.” He clarifies by stating, “I make money…I do not look at social consequences.”

His target, through a complex web of left-wing organizations, is the United States who he believes is “The main obstacle to a stable and just world…”

Here is another gem: "I've made My life's mission to destroy the United States. I hate this country and I hate all of the people in it" -George Soros -newsweek

That last one was made in 1979 but is still relevant in his actions even to this day.

He wants to correct what he considers a flaw in that "Only americans have a vote and there needs to be more foreign influence in the United States."

And just as some Icing on this $%*& show I present how delusional this man really is.
“I admit that I have always harbored an exaggerated view of my self-importance…to put it bluntly, I fancied myself as some kind of god.” Or, “I carried some rather potent messianic fantasies with me from childhood, which I felt I had to control. Otherwise I might end up in a loony bin.” - The Alchemy of Finance, Geoge Soro

and Finally there is this.

George Soros was born George Schwartz, a Hungarian Jew. At age 14, his parents bought him a new identity with a Christian family, where he helped Germans confiscate Jewish possessions. For a man who wants to be the conscience of the world, he said, “I felt no sense of guilt.” He added, “It was not difficult to do.” The German occupation was, “…an exhilarating experience and the happiest years of my life.” He admitted that, “…anti-Semitism is part of my psyche…

End.

You are exactly right.

I wonder how many are on this board. I've noticed a similar style of writing that seems to come from various posters. Coincidentally, when they do post, they give themselves stars as well.

What we need now is a list of names of UK politicians who are in the Soros pocket to try and frustrate brexit.

Then kick them out on their backsides.
