Hey... you got a few good recipes...

Yeah...

But are they thought provoking recipes ?

Okay, maybe the mucus plug recipe got me thinking a bit... but just a bit.

Join ATS, they said.

It'll be thought provoking, they said.

Hey... you got a few good recipes...

You just wait til Augie hears about this thread. We're obviously missing some delicious disgusting options only he could fathom on a dime.

LMAO, the mods aren't touching this one with a ten foot pole.

It is nice to see everyone having a good time

The funny thing is that everything that's been posted has been on topic.
Well, maybe not the story about my trip to Taiwan but other than that, OH! and the bears. Hmmmm bears and placenta.
Wait! Bears eat placenta too!
Now if we could just fit them turnips in somewhere.

Slow cook the turnips for 2 hours... THEN add the placenta.

Add the mucus plug during the last 30 minutes of cook time... let it thicken, then simmer.

Serve on a bed of boiled rice.

Num num num

Holy crap, I just had a gross thought.

"Nobody's managed to bottle either of these two in tequila in place of the worm, have they?"

Google says no, not yet. But plenty of women use tequila to wash down the placenta. You know, if you need booze to stomach the stuff, it's your instincts saying to keep it out of your mouth in the first place!

I saw that show in Juarez. It should never be bottled... ever...

Me ?

I'm in central standard time.

Canadian prairies... where turnips (and undercooked mucus plugs) have been outlawed.

Personally I'm not sure turnips are even of this earth?..perhaps remnants of some asteroid that pummeled earth eons ago, that's my educated guess.

Well in that case, THANK YOU.
When you said it was the best thread of the day I figured you might be in Eastern where we just started a new day.

I like turnips and turnip greens.

I'm thinking Nyiah's mucus plug/crotch snot comment was directly referring to what turnips taste like.

And I agree with her wholeheartedly.

Placenta has a very mineral taste... turnips offset that quite nicely... like liver and collard greens.

Didn't you mention oakra earlier? What would the effect of oakra and the mucus plug in the same recipe?
