Hannity interviewed Moore earlier today and played the audio on his show tonight, and honestly, while I'm still not 100% convinced either way, I came away feeling that the allegations against him are actually MORE credible than I did before. I'm watching Hannity on FoxNews now. Moore indicated that he dated girls as young as 16, when he was 30. From what I've seen on crime shows, if a girl is 16 and the man is 30, it's against the law. Right?

But I agree with the legal expert (Brett Bayer?) who said that over the 30 years he's "followed" Roy Moore, the man has ignored the rule of law many times. That's Moore is an embarrassment to the party. (Mitch McConnell and Moore are buddies. That's a red flag. I'd like to see McConnell drained from the swamp.)

The people of Alabama should have followed President Trump's advice to vote for Luther Strange. I'm sure Donald Trump will eventually say, "I told you so. My intuition is rarely wrong."

Thanks, after reading this, it appears Mr. Moore definitely has serious problems

Too late to shut his mouth, I think. The more I read through those quotes, the more I think something is rotten about his story. Unless his accusers have trouble keeping their own stories straight, he's probably screwed.

Maybe, but locals talking of this say unwarranted accusations never resulted in any action - mind you these are not catholics.

If the lady has no problem going around over the years accusing multiple pastors then she'd surely not of had issue with reporting on Roy Moore years ago - that she pokes head up now less than 30 days from election smacks of political dirty tricks smear campaign which was attempted with Trump, Done on Cain.

And what of the other one with clear links to democrat party

Or reporter alleged to have offered money for claims against Moore.

This not only quacks like a duck but walks like a whole bunch of them regards dirty trick political operations.

What gets me is some on here will tell anyone anything to defend rapist Bill Clinton or heaven forbid someone who ran prostitution out of congressional office but let a sketchy allegation come out on someone who political leanings are polar opposite and they're ready to hang having made the noose last week just in case.

Because it's too darned convenient when Moore is clear front runner in Senate election less than 30 days and this is oldest dirty trick in the book.

DNC and RNC both have it out for Moore, reason enough right there for my vote.

Given how bad Moore flubbed that interview when Hannity was pitching softballs, I suspect it's true and that this is the tip of the iceberg.

The bottom line is that this is Alabama. We might be backwoods hicks, but we're not that gullible. Local rumor is that the Moore campaign has some information they are vetting on this accuser, as well as the reporters who broke the story.

Other states might be willing to throw away people over baseless accusations... not us. This will make no difference. Roy Moore will still sit in the US Senate.

I was poking around briefly last night. Did my eyes deceive me or is Alabama's age of consent still 16?

As creepy as the idea of a 30 year old with a 16 year old is, if that's the age of consent, then it's not illegal, just creepy. But then, there are a good 20 years difference in age between McCain and his wife.

My reason for pointing that out is that we see a lot of situations in the wealthy political class and the celebrity class where there are large age discrepancies in marriages or dating couple, but no one bats an eye. It is considered normal. Back in the days when Judge Moore was supposedly doing this stuff, you had people like Elvis Presley running around with his very young girlfriend, to be wife, for example.

So what defines the creepy and icky barrier for us because sometimes it starts to look selective based on what we're fed.

Yes the only issue 2as the girl claiming to be 14. The age of consent in Alabama is 16. Which I suspect is why his interview went so bad. He did like young girls but now that he's older he's ashamed of that choices. He probably never knowingly dated the 14 yr old but when your fishing in 16 to 18 anyway hard to tell.

Dirty old man just needs to say yes I dated very young girls and move on.

Moore defended a guy who raped a 4 year old, saying you can't rape a 4 year old in the first degree because they're too young to experience the fear legitimate rape produces.
