Yeah and i think it is just disinfo. I suspect that the mysterious payload was already deployed and they hit the kill switch on the rocket. People think it was lost and no one will be the wiser. I don't expect them to tell us what it was either.

NORAD just listed ZUMA as an orbiting earth object...so it is in orbit, didn't explode...and didn't fall to earth.
