My favorite new series. I don't think I've laughed this hard since... Damn good series.

I don't brag often about my preferences but the writer of this one? Brilliance at it's utmost.

Plus I have time on my hands right now.

There's one problem with it.

There's no intellectual participation by the audience. All murder mysteries are supposed to give you sufficient clues that it might be possible to solve it by the time the detective does.

But that's the whole point, Sherlock's genius surpasses everyone including the audience, the fun is seeing how he works it out.

Moriarty and Mycroft are supremely played, as is Lestrade and Irene Alder. Mrs. Hudson is also quite alluring for her age. The last episode with their sister is quite riveting. I'm on my second watching.

It's somewhat more.. modern than the older versions. Nonetheless, entertaining.

Yes I agree, they have an excellent cast and it's very well done.
One of my favorite series in the last decade easily.

I'm currently on S2: E3

Cumberbatch makes the series what it is.

There are some great Sherlock Holmes comedy films out there too, some are classics.

Speaking of which, Will Ferrell is making a Sherlock film as we speak. Curious to see if it's gonna be any good. Hopefully it'll be as good as Martin's Pink Panther films, which I personally thought were gut wrenching hilarity.

I hated the last episode.

You spend all of this time getting invested in characters, and then in the very last episode one is introduced that is smarter than them all.

I thought it was lazy and crappy.

I haven't seen it yet. But p!ease, don't let your opinion take away from the other sixteen. I'm enjoying this.

I'll grant you it was disturbing, but not to leave a spoiler, I too felt disappointment.

Just finished season 4 episode 2.

Sherlock is my favorite series ever.

It even beats Honey BooBoo

I was unclear if there will be a season 5 ? If no, that would be cruel...

No plans for a 5th season. Moffat is off doing other things.

Been a fan of the show since it first came out.
