That's true but blockchain can offer better security and software like Golem could become standard in distributed computing.
If you build distributed application based on blockchain it is unpenetrable and very large heavily exposed projects are possible, but you are generally right.

In fact, it seems that birds have something like quantum-based navigation system which can support quantum brain theory, but there's no evidence suggesting that human brain using quantum effects. Quantum entanglement like in quantum computer is very hard to achieve. It requires helium cooling and perfect separation from radio-waves. I'm not saying it's impossible but still, there's no evidence supporting that theory. I think maybe it's somehow connected to consciousness but brain rather doesn't use quantum effects to just think.
