Dude, Hillary killed my dog, ate my last ice cream sandwich, gave me AIDS, slashed my tires and bought the last bag of potato chips at the store.

Hillary is the type of person like a roomate that drinks your last beer, or someone who at a restaurant eats all your fries when you get up to refill your soda.

God, or the person who borrows your car and doesn't bother to replace the gas they used. Then, the next day you go to work and find your car's gas tank on "E" and are late to work because you had to stop for gas.

Errrrm...not that something like that has happened to me recently or anything.

It doesn't say in the Post article what Ms Brazile believed Russia's motive might be for murdering Seth Rich. So it's a bit pointless to speculate. All we can learn from the Post's summary is that she was afraid Rich had been rubbed out by the Russians, and that she might be on their list too.

FWIW I can think of a very good reason (apart from the hacking) that the Russian government might have had Rich taken out. It would get blamed on Clinton and damage her even further as a candidate. As indeed, it has been blamed on her, by many people, as you can see from this thread and lots of others like it.

And yes, of course Russia knowingly plays into the US domestic market for conspiracy theories, as has been amply proven over and over since the end of WWII.

We know that Hillary didn't borrow it, or you would not have seen it again.

Agreed, it's blame the reds again. Especially since the source quoted is the WaPo which is CIA owned and therefore Clinton-centric.

Something wicked is brewing inside the Democrat Party.

Something very wicked.

It's all such carefully controlled info being spun into this preferred narrative: DWS & the Russians are the blame for everything. The DNC is not to blame though...they were victims of Russian hackers and at the mercy of Hillary's campaign, throughout all of it.

I can't believe anyone is taking a narrative coming from Donna Brazile seriously. She's leading the public along...including conservatives that she hates!

The only thing people should do with what she saying is wonder what vile motive is behind this crafted narrative.

Amazing.

If the left and Dems start attacking Brazil for outing the rigging of the primaries then I guess that means they are racist.

I didn't make the rules, they did.

I don't know how brave she is. She is definitely corrupt. That was proven by her as attempt to sway the election by giving Hillary the debate questions.

Now she is just making a buck by writing a book pointing out everyone's shady dealings except, I assume, her own.

I agree with your first point. I don't trust in her claims of innocence regarding DNC malfeasance. I think that she is jumping ship now that the tide of public opinion is gradually shifting. Some are saying she is trying to get ahead of future revelations.

That's right, don't want to "deny her lived experience as a person of color." That's racist! Check your privilege! According to SJWs, whoever has the most oppression points in the stack of privilege MUST be believed at their word, on every topic.

She is always spouting off about what a "good" Christian woman she is. Anytime someone starts off saying this, my red flag goes up and I just wait for the lies to start.

She is definitely up to something with this. Maybe they want to make a case for a redux of the 2016 elections!!!

The only other thing I can think of besides trying to make $$$ off the sale of her book, is she actually had a bad conscience about all the dishonesty she was complicit in, or....she was supposed to get something out of her complicity and it wasn't forthcoming.

Brazile writes that she was haunted by the still-unsolved murder of DNC data staffer Seth Rich and feared for her own life, shutting the blinds to her office window so snipers could not see her and installing surveillance cameras at her home. She wonders whether Russians had placed a listening device in plants in the DNC executive suite

At first, Brazile writes of the hacking, top Democratic officials were “encouraging us not to talk about it.” But she says a wake-up moment came when she visited the White House in August 2016, for President Obama’s 55th birthday party. National security adviser Susan E. Rice and former attorney general Eric Holder separately pulled her aside to urge her to take the Russian hacking seriously, which she did, she writes.

In context it sounds like she's blaming the Russians for Seth Rich.

So wait a second - I thought the whole conspiracy was Russia wanted Trump elected - not Hillary.

You do realize Rich worked and is alleged to have stolen info from the DNC - how would hillary get blamed for leaking DNC or her own campaign emails - she wanted to sabotage her own campaign?

Now does it make sense if Russia actually wanted Hillary to be the president - maybe. Considering how she probably worked with them to hand over our Uranium it would not surprise me if they did want her to win as she has shown she is willing to sell out the country for her own benefit.

I don't understand why Brazil would be afraid of Russia if they truly wanted Trump to win though - she needs to explain this.

Don't dismiss this idea. I can think of dozens of things Hillary did that sabotaged her 2008 and 2016 campaigns.

Notice how she carefully writes everything right up to the brink of illegality.

Almost like the words are not hers (aka ghost writers/lawyers/pr firms/lobbyists).

Also makes people automatically believe the "Russians" did it all.

Well, she wouldn't, would she. Rich carries the can for the leak (and dead men tell no tales) and then Hillary gets the blame for murdering him. Classic misdirection, and very efficient.

Anyway, that's just speculation - nothing more. Brazile doesn't appear to think it was Clinton, but that hasn't stopped anyone else from thinking it, which could have been the point of the operation.

Or it would have come back with a body in the trunk for which they'd get blamed.

Yeah - it implies she is in fear of her life from the russians because it is on the next line it says "She wonders whether Russians had placed a listening device in plants in the DNC executive suite."

But maybe that line was put there precisely to not have to name who she was truly in fear of.

I don't know, it is really kind of a strange thing to write if that is all there is to it. It will be interesting to see how much this is expanded upon in the book.

From the OP's WaPo article:

Perhaps not since George Stephanopoulos wrote “All Too Human,” a 1999 memoir of his years working for former president Bill Clinton, has a political strategist penned such a blistering tell-all.

***

On Stephanopoulos' "All Too Human:"

"I didn't believe Clinton, and I couldn't buy the party line -- which meant I was the enemy now," Stephanopoulos wrote. "I didn't think I was a hypocrite, because my defense of Clinton against past bimbo eruptions had been predicated on my belief that he wouldn't create new ones ... For several years, I had served as Clinton's character witness. Now I felt like a dupe."

He also wrote that he began seeing a therapist after the suicide of White House deputy counsel Vincent Foster. The therapist who prescribed an antidepressant medication for him.

On Brazile's "Hacks:"

Brazile writes that she was haunted by the still-unsolved murder of DNC data staffer Seth Rich and feared for her own life, shutting the blinds to her office window so snipers could not see her and installing surveillance cameras at her home. Yep. I see what you mean.

Always stopping short of alleging the Clintons and DNC are in the business of being criminal.

The Clintons and the DNC are one trick ponies.

Donna Brazile is a good candidate for an "Ask Me Anything" thread.

Do we have to secretly give her the questions ahead of time?

Maybe they publish a shadow copy of the book with some sentences slightly changed.

That would throw multiple red herrings right in the middle of the street and create a massive traffic jam.
