'Rampant' Problem of Male abusers targeting men and boys In Hollywood-"not safe"

Rampant and pervasive sexual abuse of boys and young men by men is a huge problem in Hollywood. This is according to actors and lawyers who are suddenly brave and speaking up in the wake of Kevin Spacey's problem of a claimed attempted sexual assault of a minor child actor.

Taboo is what Alex Winters calls the sexual abuse subject. He was abused when he was a pre-teen, and says he doesn't know of any boys who haven't encountered the predatory behavior. He claims it is not safe.

“It’s a very taboo subject,” said Alex Winter, an actor and director who said he was sexually abused as a pre-teen child actor. “I don’t know of any boys in any pocket of the entertainment industry that do not encounter some form of predatory behavior. … It’s really not a safe environment.”

Spacey has been accused of making an unwanted sexual advance toward Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp, who says he was 14 years old.

Sexual harassment is a big problem says Tony Jaranilla who reps men in entertainment. The men are coerced in to sex or just assaulted and are afraid to speak out. The usual reasons rape victims don't speak out apply to men who are preyed on my the Hollywood homosexual sect.

“It’s a pervasive problem in Hollywood,” said Los Angeles attorney Toni Jaramilla, who has represented men in the entertainment industry in sexual harassment cases. She said that men can be coerced into sex or assaulted in professional contexts and are often afraid to speak out: “The common challenge is the fear of not being believed and the fear of having the situation turned around against them, to suggest that they are instigating it, or they are finding opportunities to sleep their way into a role.”

Thank god people are finally coming forward, it has been a long time coming and exposing the abusers is the only way to stop more victims from falling into their predatory hands.

It makes me sick to think about how many have been ignored, written off to protect people pocket book.

Lock each of these sick mofo's up, send them straight to general population and let karma sort them out.

FWIW My cousin encountered this while starting out in reporting on Rugby matches for the AP when he lived in Australia. He was 17, and was cornered a few times over the year he worked for them on both sides of the Pacific.

Cameras turn them on or something is what he always said.

Jimmy Saville is a case and point of how the powerful have their crimes covered for decades.

It is precisely what we are seeing about Pedowood as well.

Spacey wasn't even in Hollywood at the time of this "Assault".
Even this accuser stated that Spacey came into the bedroom, where he was watching tv, was drunk, picked him up, put him on the bed, and the either laid or just rolled on him....then the 14yo got up and left?

Its going to take a while to raise the funds and then even more time to make the movie.
If six of "the most powerful men in Hollyweird" are going to be exposed, I fear that he may, indeed, expect repercussions.
Its an odd situation to put himself in.

I thought Feldman had already told the authorities but they didn't act.
He's pretty vulnerable right now.
If I had the info I wouldn't feel safe at all.

I implied Spacey was drunk, not Rapp.

That is how it was reported.

I recall Spacey or perhaps the rumours, about his sexuality, "Came out" after the movie "American Beauty" came out.

I was mildly surprised when I found out, as he played sort of macho roles up to that time.....

Still not regarded as a sexual assault to 1980s standards.
