New York LEGISLATOR caught speeding, fakes PTSD and tries to avoid ticket

Jennifer Schwartz Berky (D) gets caught speeding, fakes what seem to be a liberal arts degree student type of breakdown while the police camera was recording.



She now apologizes;

“The video released earlier this week of my Town of Ulster traffic stop captured a tough moment for me,” stated Berky. “Like so many working families, I too face tough times and stressful situations. As a professional, a public servant and a mother, I know my interaction with Police Officer Gary Short was unacceptable. I want to apologize to Officer Short and thank him for his patience and professionalism with me during a very difficult time.”

Shameful. This is almost a non-human behavior. People have been more calm on their first time on the battlefield. What makes this even more pathetic is that she is a damn legislator.

"Don't give me a ticket, I can't afford it" Said the NY legislator.

Does seem a bit over the top for a mere speeding ticket 🤔. What's lame is she tries to turn it around on the cop implying it was for racial reasons he pulled her over . If she gets off on that ticket, it's definitely black privilege with a dash of politics thrown in.

Thanks for the correction... she does look " brown" in the video ( ok. Just looked at it again.. I'm going blind .. she looks white)... and when she said " why me" , I assumed it was because she was partly black. My mistake... so once again thanks for the correction.

Ha, I was waiting for the cop to go ahead and also write her the 2nd ticket, since she wanted that too. Remember folks, people like her decide what's best for the rest of us.

I really felt bad for the cop too, he tried, but she just wouldn't let him do his job and be nice. =)

She is a worthless fraud, I can only imagine how she deals with business issues. I wouldn’t trust a word that would come out of this lady’s mouth.

Just think, this woman will probably get re-elected too.

We had a Senator here in Vermont who crashed her Mercedes into the ditch and was guilty of DUI just a couple of weeks ago
