Although I loved how over the top 1k corpses was, devils rejects was the better film by far. Hell even Roger Ebert liked it.

Devils Rejects is one of my favorite movies.

Not many movies these days move me emotionally, but the raw human emotion portrayed in that film gives me chills.

Er, who's left? Tiny? Don't seem to remember him dieing.

Ps. Ahhh it would have been in a hail of bullets at the Firefly house, I remember now!

Yeah, but cmon man they needn't get ruined as a supernatural slasher horror flickeroo.

Or if they somehow survived the lead hail they'd be in the hospital for a year and then off to prison / electric chair. The odds of a female prison being conjoined with the male prison and them all getting out together. Argh.

They didnt show what happened to Grandpa.

Go home, you're drunk!

Ho1kC was way better than Devils Rejects.

Still, both great movies and I just don't think ol' Rob can fail in music or film. I met him once and he his cool as a cucumber even amid massive successes.

Am I the exception? I actually preferred the over the top campiness of 1000 Corpses.

I found Rejects to be almost too nasty in the first motel hostage scene.

Great movie. Otis has to be the most ba horror character ever, he is one scary dude.

This movie has the same creep factor of The Texas Chainsaw massacre with Jessica Beil in it.

Definitely not the exception - 1hk was imho the better film by far. Doctor Satan anyone?!

Particularly the long, drawn out shot where the guy (I forget his name) is shot on his knees. Makes me jump every time.

Might have to revisit rejects though - I remember hating it and disappointed when I first saw it, but I might have been tired or something.

Yeah, when Otis shot the girls father who came to look for her and found her in the shed with other unfortunate. Loved the long, tense pause.

I just found House to be more B-movieish and was fun, didn't take itself too seriously. I liked Rejects, but for different reasons.

Hell yes it was. That's the only movie in history that disturbed me enough to admit that that was one #^@&$%-up movie!

Nothing that has been put out up to this point can compare to that movie. The finisher... Dr Satan... Perfect ending to one messed up horror flick!

I even had dreams about that movie as an adult!

Antichtist was the single hardest movie to watch for me.

If you are a fan of f#@ked up horrors, it's right at the top, IMO.

House of 1000 corpses will forever remain my favorite zombie flick...I think it´s also, because it was his first one and I had no idea what to expect. So I was left pleasantly disturbed after viewing it. The devil's rejects was cool, but I too, remember being kind of disappointed with it. I have only seen it once though and it's horror season so might watch it again soon. Maybe, I went into it with too much expectations? I usually like Zombie's movies and enjoyed the Halloween duo and 31...but his best one will always be House of 1000 corpses to me. That intense ending scene when we got to see more of the things in that house was so over the top crazy insane, great stuff!!
As for them being dead, they're called the devil's rejects after all...so maybe they can't die!

The Devil's Rejects was the far better movie. Love it. House of a 1000 Corpses annoyed me with all the screaming for screaming's sake.
