There's Nowt as Daft as Folk , 245 People Jump off a Bridge... Together

It's a cool thing to watch but those who took part must be barking mad , the jump took place in Hortolândia Brazil and smashed the standing unofficial record of just 149 participants set last year.

3...2...1.. BUNGEE !!!!!


Technically the jumpers rope-jumped as rope jumping doesn't involve a bounce back like bungee cords but hey ... Bungee !!!!

I don't know why I thought the bridge would be much taller.

When I was young, my parents used to say the old 'If your friends jumped off a bridge would you?"
My reply was "probably, if it was tall enough".

Next time they will have to, loop-the-loop!...with no hats.

I can just hear it now, dad dad lets do an under duck.

That is so cool. I jumped off a bridge in Lake Norris several times, granted it wasn't that big, but if I had a bungee secured to me I'd surely jump off that too!

Actually I didn't get my license to drive until I was 21 and living with my grandparents because my father asked me when I was 16 if your friends jumped off a bridge would you? And being the smart ass I am I said "Hell yeah dad in fact I already did when my friends took me on vacation this summer! Even my best friends mom jumped! "


He never trusted me with anything again lol.
