I've had amazon send me duplicate orders twice. Both times they told me to keep the extra!

I am going to order a kettle from amazon.

Hopefully it will arrive with some extra goodies.

Then I can look in it and say........ so the pot finally met the kettle.

About the "mix up"

Yes sorry actually all that weed was supposed to go to another customer, we apologize about that. Enjoy the 150 dollar gift card though!

Oh so what? We are in California, and it's growing in people's yards all up and down the block. People give it away to their friends here. One guy down the road has 99 giant pot plants. Some must be 10 pounds each.

I suppose the follow up article will be about drug sniffing dogs arriving at the Amazon shipping center.

I would guess this has been going on for a while.

Amazon are about to get a spike in orders.

Yeah.

This sounds like a viral marketing campaign to me.

So were suppose to believe these suspiciously "heavy and stinky" bins of weed traveled throughout the mail delivery system w/o arrousing suspicion, even being delivered to a destination and nobody noticed except the pople at the end?

I mean, I get the whole somebody had it delivered to the wrong address to avoid arrest and fell asleep at the switch when the shipment arrived (look across the street) and all....

It happens all the time actually. Mail interception rates are pretty low.

I would go right to the cops. People don't just misplace $60-$100k worth of drugs. I would want law enforcement to know, if for no other reason than my own protection.

Shipping like that would be the medical grade I'm thinking. I'm sure they move stock for these dispensaries like any other commodity no? So it was probably the likes of those that have pages on lefly or such.

Anyway I got three packages from them recently and none came with any bonus material.
I did get two copies of a book I ordered from them once and they said keep it.

But it's legal in twenty nine states I believe. Amazon sells everything why not weed? They would just be restricted where they could ship it. I don't know. I'm thinking it's a breakdown in distribution or something got messed up on a tow motor run or conveyor belt.

Sounds like someone had a little scheme set up where you order a certain number of a certain item from a certain seller and they send you something extra.

I guess someone on the shipping end screwed up. I doubt it's a big loss though. Since so many states have legalized there have been several stories I've read of large amounts of cannabis being found that have been abandoned.

You'd be surprised how much cannabis is thrown away daily, just because there's so much of it everywhere now. The homeless people where I live go dumpster diving behind grow ops and edible manufacturers and walk away with garbage bags full of cannabis they then sit on top of on the street like giant bean bags..

It could also be just as easily a cartel using drop points and dummy addresses to ship their stuff across the country. In that case it would be dirt weed.

How do we know? Unless they are intentionally ignored...

And it only takes one time for a package to be discovered and the addressee caught.

Thats like ringing door bells and running but leaving your id on the porch. Or stealing a credit card and shopping in a store where theres cameras. Or phoning in bomb threats from your home phone.

Ever see Drug store Cowboy?

They used to send the drug stash ahead by greyhound bus and catch up with them as they drove cross country. When they got into town, they would go to the greyhound counter and claim their luggage.

As far as this case, someone probably mailed the dugs to an address they were watching and waiting, but for whatever reason were unable to grab them off the porch before the neighbors got home.
