I realize that using a robot child in such a way is more than simply
thinking about pedophilia, but once you start down the slippery slope of
arresting people for using sex toys to emulate pedophilia, the next step is arresting people for having thoughts about committing pedophilia.
You might say "That sounds like a good idea", and you might have a point...
....except for the idea that if you take that to the next level (sliding farther down the slippery slope), you could argue that we should arrest
people who have thought about committing any crime, such as a person who imagines robbing money from a bank vault or gold from Fort Knox. That person
may have strong enough morals to never act on those fantasies of robbery, but that doesn't mean the thoughts never crossed their minds.
