The average American watches 150 hours of tv a month. Now my tv use boils down to how many times my football team plays in a month. I don't watch Tv at all, no soap operas, game shows, etc etc. I realised years ago what TV is, and I'm not shocked. But when you hear that today in America ..

90 percent of the programming that comes through your television is controlled by just 6 gigantic media corporations.
And this is no different in the Uk, so why do people continue to WATCH... Is it really that easy to brainwash people

I would say yes. Considering the deforestation of the Amazon.
People are low on oxygen to the brain.

People are low on oxygen to the brain.had an discussion with my 20yr old son, and I had to explain to that before the internet, people were barely able to check facts when it came to conspiracies and resorted to the media or books for information. He forgot we didn't have the internet as kids lol

People are looking for a break from the stress of everyday life. TV takes their mind off their problems for a while.
You're not supposed to notice the fact that the folks who are causing your stress, are the same folks who offer to relieve your stress.
shhhh. Work. Consume.

I found these programmes more stressful, flashing lights, unfunny b*ll comedy, rubbish music, ADVERTS and biased news.. who needs that after a day of graft

The matrix is a belief system you accept or not. You aren't brain-washed by TV if you took your red pill.

In Platos Cave, the shadows dancing on the cave wall aren't real. If you aren't asleep in your matrix bathtub, you are awake. Even when inside the Matrix (watching TV).

Really Good Noodles...

I know how ya feel. Recently, they started making new episodes of an older show that I liked.."Will and Grace". When I watched the first couple of new ones, they spent half the time being political/Trump bashing, etc.
I sighed, rolled my eyes and turned it off.
About the only shows I watch now are older ones like Stargate SG-1 and old X Files, along with Lucifer, Gotham and The Blacklist.

...and Rick and Morty of course.

Football is a soap opera. Expensive advertising fighting for your dollar.

We entered the matrix when we chose to incarnate into this illusion

My favorite football skill is the one where the opposing player touches your ear and then you flop on the ground writhing in agony in hopes that the referee gives the other guy a red card.

Meanwhile cable subscriptions are falling off a cliff. I suppose your figures reflect broadcast tv or internet tv? Also, at least in my house, the wife falls asleep by 8:00 with the tv on until I come up to bed 4 hrs later. This equates to ~4hrs a day error. (More than 50% error if they're metering my tv)

Just sayin. I question statistics. Everyone has an agenda.

Also, they call it "tv programming" or a reason. The ultimate conditioning tool for Deep State/PTB/whoever. In my waning years I understand how I was programmed/conditioned. Hacking the program is a real challenge unless we turn off the damn tv!

Sports always were, and still are part of the matrix. Starting with the ancient gladiators.

It instills pride, a sense of brotherhood (all the while you do your work, pay your bills and go happily to your next match) and is a distraction like no other for those who don't have other distractions.

Don't kid yourself, you are as plugged in as any.
