Feel free to move it if I am in the wrong spot.

Now all of what I have seen that made me go Mmm taken individually are nothing of significance its the timing of everything that gave me pause and the latest item is what is driving me to post about it. (I have noticed everything in the last 8-12 months)

I live in NW germany right now in the Tri-Border regioin (Germany, Belgium, Netherlands) I try to never travel the main roads when I go anywhere (I hate the Audubon in germany).

The first thing that surprised me was seen in Northern Austria I had to take a detour and this long winding road went almost completely around a Mtn, down in the valley to my write was a small village when we got to the end of the village I was blown away by seeing a hole in the mtn that did not (at that moment) go through the Mtn, of course your first thought is a tunnel for the Audubon, but this thing was massive. One of those giant cranes that get used on major construction sites could have sat in the tunnel and had room to spare between the roof and the floor, the outer edges looked to be heavy duty concrete and it was in a circle. They had something draped inside the opening to block off view and I am assuming mostly to block noise. The road did not go close to it but if I was to guess 200-400 feet from floor to ceiling at the opening.

Second thing I just saw today, had to drive to South through Belgium to an area real close to Luxembourg, hit another detour in the mtns but it was small and I saw them building something for the road to go through, it just seemed odd because they were building it in such a way that you would pile dirt on top of the concrete, it reminded me of the hardened buildings that you parked vehicles in during the cold war.

Third thing, when I first got to Germany it was odd adjusting my grocery habits, the normal 3 years ago was you buy food every 2-3 days, not the american style of once a month shopping. But where it was normal to see people getting off of work spending 30-40 euro for food, I see these same people dropping 200 euro when they come through.

The last thing and this is what made me start to wonder is recently all of my German neighbors have taken up raising rabbits almost at the same time, and not 1 or 2 that might be pets, but 10-12 per household, which strikes me as closer to starting off numbers for raising food.

Now I fully understand the first 2 could just be construction designs that seem odd, and the first one is obviously the most likely to be a coincidence, but I am just curious if anyone else has noticed odd things going on, and I do not know what I am looking for just feels like I am seeing some odd things and I am trying to work through in my head.

So if you have seen something that gave you pause drop it in the thread and lets see if anything starts to jump out at people.

S+F, subbed.

Your post reminds me of this news out of Germany from late 2016;

'Germans Told to Stockpile Food and Water for Civil Defence'

For the first time since the Cold War the German government is advising citizens to stockpile food and water for use in a national emergency.

[...] Citizens are advised to store enough food to last them 10 days, because initially a disaster might put national emergency services beyond reach.

Five days' water - two litres (half a gallon) per person daily - is advised. The German news website Frankfurter Allgemeine (FAZ) said the new concept was set out in a 69-page German Interior Ministry document.

The document said "an attack on German territory, requiring conventional defence of the nation, is unlikely". But, it said, a major security threat to the nation in future could not be ruled out, so civil defence measures were necessary.

Source (BBC, sorry)

We are trying to plan a trip back into Austria and if the timing works we will try to find it again.

That would explain the rabbits. I wonder what type of disaster they are expecting?
