Outward appearances have nothing to do with who you are.

I do believe that went over your head.

LOL! A lifetime of experiences at the age of 50 is what led me to where I am!

My lifetime of experiences has led me to a place where I understand why you feel how you do even though I can't step back into that smaller world view.

I'm not the one with 15 years of OBEs that led me nowhere except to the final conclusion that nothing exists or matters and all vanishes to dust!

I never said that.

Sorry but you don't get to put words in my mouth just because I didn't feel like meeting your demands.

ETA: Besides, why even try when it was obvious that you were just going to blame it on satan and his minions.

I only care for the sake of the discussion. Who said I don't believe in anything? Why do you keep trying to tell me what I believe when I have made it clear enough, to someone who isn't chomping at the bit to reply, what that is.

Enough of the meaningless word salad you offer! If you believe anything, anything at all, just spill it already! This is just getting annoying and I'm not sure anyone cares what you believe any longer.

Already did. It isn't even cryptic although a bit oversimplified.

For example what you replied to above:

Your true self isn't this avatar, it is the pimply faced alien teen behind the videogame controller.

In your rush you skipped right ove the word "alien". This life is a VR game. When you die you go bug your alien mom for another galactic quarter so you can play again.

In the OBE I described earlier in the thread I said:

at some point I became aware that somewhere in that darkness there was a small dot where I had to return and finish "the game".

This is just getting annoying and I'm not sure anyone cares what you believe any longer.

You are the only one getting melodramatic about it because you are to busy focusing on what you will say next and not what is being said.

Now you are shifting goalposts. You said I didn't believe anything when I actually do.

I'm still searching for answers so I can't really answer those questions with any certainty but I've narrowed it down to two possibilities:

1. Just a game like any other, played obsessively by some until they get bored and stop playing

2. School.

The later is an idea that is floated around a lot. Goes hand in hand with spirituality. The only difference is that nobody cares how many times you have to repeat a grade. At least not that I can tell.

Robert Monroe in his last book, IIRC, talks about OBEing into a possible future where earth/school has become more efficient and everyone graduates in one lifetime. I can't say if that is true or even possible. It is just an idea in that field.

3. Prison.
Spirits screwed up causing pain in the spirit world. Got judged, fell to Earth into a host body, go through a life path that has many junctions with 1 path leading out of this prison back to God.

Demons feed off the misery down here which is why they promote sin to make sure that they miss the path back to Heaven and get reincarnated here again.

Mind-wipes are important because imagine the suicide rate if everyone knew that they stood a high chance of being reincarnated into the prison again.

Sure, I was even drawn to that theory for a while but I can't really say that my experiences have taken me there.

Demons feed off the misery down here which is why they promote sin to make sure that they miss the path back to Heaven and get reincarnated here again.

Again that is the whole archon theory and that was pretty much what my first post in this thread was alluding to but lately I have been thinking, what if we are the archons?

It isn't demons feeding off our misery but us getting a thrill or a rush from experiencing this roller coaster ride. We are like addicts seeking the rush. We are feeding off of our own misery because it is more exciting than siting on a cloud strumming a harp or being and becoming nothingness.

Mind-wipes are important because imagine the suicide rate if everyone knew that they stood a high chance of being reincarnated into the prison again.

Mind-wipes are important because without them you wouldn't get lost in the fantasy.

One of the things that kept me christian until the end was the idea of reincarnation and mind-wipes. Reincarnation doesn't make sense if you are to stand tall before the maker and take responsibility for your acts but it made even less sense, to me, to keep coming back if you couldn't learn from your prior mistakes.

So mind-wipes make no sense in either case. Reincarnation right off the bat doesn't fit with the bible and atonement for something you can't remember sounds counterproductive.

At the time I felt everything had to fit the bible so those two things, as Deetermined said, were "unimaginable in my mind and my spirit!"

Then its basically down here to learn a major lesson. Once learned, death sends us to Heaven for the upgrade.

Maybe Goodness is proportional to angel capabilities during the upgrade process.

An angel contact said that reincarnation is not true so I would have to agree with you. Maybe the deja-vu moments are memories passed down to us from our ancestors via DNA encoding. Similar to that child who could fly an aeroplane because his grandfather flew a jet.

Archons in meat suits. Hmmmm. Possible from a OBE where I saw a wraith attached to my left shoulder blade. Nice spirit - NOT.

Well hopefully all the truth will soon be visible to us.

7 billion demons getting a rush of suffering and watching others suffer.

Seems like the Eurythmics - 'Sweet Dreams' is close to reality.

Interesting thought. Would that lesson be the same for everyone? I'm thinking that it couldn't be something like accept jesus as your savior. Just an example, but that would put a lot of people at a disadvantage from birth since not everyone is born into a christian culture.

Could the lesson be something totally contrary to "goodness" like be a serial killer?

You lost me there.

I'm not sold on DNA memory. I'd believe that maybe a child that could do that had done it in a previous life. I mean some things in the "children say the darnest things" threads here are not really about abilities. Remembering a past life and traveling to a remote village and being able to name some of the people there that they knew in a previous life isn't something that would be part of the DNA of a family half a world away.

Archons in meat suits. Hmmmm. Possible from a OBE where I saw a wraith attached to my left shoulder blade. Nice spirit - NOT.

The archon part is you wanting the wraith there to make you feel whatever you felt because it seemed like something fun to do. Like a child that wants you to tickle them even though they holler for you to stop.

Well hopefully all the truth will soon be visible to us.

I think we already know but we want to play along.

Like the 1998 re-enactment of the Battle of Gettysburg, with 15,000 to 20,000 participants larping what must have been hell for the poor soldiers that suffered through the real battle, and about 50,000 watching for fun. As above, so below.

Well, if we are all demons then a demon (djinn) working for Allah would be born in a Islamic nation.

One of the Rephaim (giants) would be born in Europe as the common language of these guys is Latin.

The Bible is free worldwide so freedom from this place is freely available. Muslims face beheading if they go Christian. In a way they have an advantage because once changed their spirit has only hours left to endure this training ground / prison. A repented Christian in America might have 10-50 years left of being blasted with temptation 24/7.

Jesus is the unbreakable link back to Heaven.

Could the lesson be something totally contrary to "goodness" like be a serial killer?

Thats like 'What if'. Oooo, today I think I will be a milkman. Ooo, tomorrow I will try out a serial killer after injecting bubonic plague into all milk bottles. Karma always comes back and bites hard.

You lost me there.

Angels have 8 levels. So the better a demon is in its current host body, the further up the angel ladder it goes after the host body dies.

Gives another meaning to the game 'Snakes & Ladders'. Slippery slithery slope to hell vs Stairways to Heaven.

Remembering a past life and traveling to a remote village and being able to name some of the people there

But I thought you were against the past life / reincarnation idea.

Bit like a online game where players slug it out in an arena and have a laugh after logging out.

Maybe this all is a Matrix within an existing Matrix.

Another option. With fictional films, LARPing, what if these scenarios are a choice for whatever realm in the Universe that the demon goes to ?

The more repented the demon, the greater its choice throughout the Universe as God trusts them.

So some might choose a galaxy with Star Trek. Others might select Star Wars.

Some might select Mars. Others go for Jupiter via film 2001.

Some might choose King Arthur. Others choose the film Blade Runner.

Books could also be used via Lord of the Rings and Alice in Wonderland. You know, there was a AD&D version of 'Alice in Wonderland' called 'BEYOND THE MAGIC MIRROR'. It was lethal yet a classic all those decades ago.

Law of Attraction springs to mind.

[EDIT] Very Important: What if the talents of a demon in this world can allow them to function in another world with their ultimate dream desire coming true.

I believe this is what this training ground is for. The video games allow them to train themselves in whatever time period that they want to move to.

My current path has followed computer programming and GIS. In a mythical world like Ancient Greece this skill set would equal a Scribe that dealt with cartography. Deep down I think God wants to know what time period we want to move into with our current talents.

A demon working in Horticulture might be happy to become a farmer in a 1st century AD environment somewhere in the current Universe.

A pilot might want to try out being Icarus for the day.

Everything else is just the plot (religious sub-plot) of the game.

You are still force fitting the ideas into religious dogma.

But I thought you were against the past life / reincarnation idea.

I was against it until I stopped being a christian.

ETA: Actually that isn't accurate. I stopped being christian a lot earlier so the 15 years I mentioned earlier isn't accurate either maybe 7-8 years to step out of christianity although I kept close enough to it to use as a reference point.

Bit like a online game where players slug it out in an arena and have a laugh after logging out.

Maybe this all is a Matrix within an existing Matrix.

The most important point in everything you wrote, to me, is that all those things don't seem to be a reason for punishment.

Like courses at a community college. Try out crochet and if you are no good at it nobody is going to damn you for eternity. Move on to something else you might be better at or just enjoy more.

You are probably correct.

Had a dream this morning where every person on this planet is here for the thrill of events.

If its good, ok. If it is painful suffering, even better.

Americans had big wide smiles on their faces even though daily events were making their lives a miserable hell. They just could not get enough of the suffering to give them their daily fix.

That sounds like what I felt in the OBE I mentioned earlier in the thread. I was sitting there in peaceful nothingness but I felt bored. I wanted to get back to life and whatever it had in store for me. It just seemed better no matter what it was.

I also mentioned Robert Monroe, in his last book, Ultimate Journey, I think, he describes the feeling of wanting to go home. He is talking with a guide of some kind and they say that he can go home if he wants to. He then finds himself lounging around a place with multicolored clouds and music. He says that he then noticed that it was the same scene over and over, I imagined like old cartoons where they looped the background during chase scenes. He then said he focused on the music and it was also the same thing over and over. He then joined some beings and started playing a game, a flying game and that also didn't hold his attention too long. Like an older child having grown out of a childish game. He then knew that he would never go home, in his words, he didn't want to.

My experience was about 10 years ago and I probably didn't read Monroe's books until 5 or 6 years ago but it was one of those things that struck a chord because my first lucid dream was just like he described, without the flying game and then the OBE years earlier had also left me with that feeling.

Being honest, these are not answers to the big questions but they are things that make you go hmmm and they hit hard because they are first hand.
