Good freakin Lord... How much more can they botch this damn story! Campos, or whoever is pictured, most definitely has an injured left leg. So unless he is toughing it out and putting his weight on his bad leg then this definitely muddies the water more.
Yeah it's so weird that Hickey would specifically identify the right leg as being injured -- and he is clearly in contact with Campos, with the SPFPA 'representing' him PR-wise -- when it was actually his left leg.
Just another thing to give off the whiff of utter BS.
Kind of thinking Campos is just holding the cane in that hand in order to hold the award with his dominant hand. You can tell he is putting his weight on the cane and left leg in the pic so as to lean and keep weight off the right.

Not sure when this was taken, but here is a new photo of Campos I had not yet seen:

Anyone know who he is pictured with and when this was supposed to have been taken?

So now what has happened? This guy is supposed to do an interview and never shows up? Things just keep getting stranger and stranger. I feel the FBI is trying to cover something up.
Where in the world is Jesus Campos?
The Mandalay Bay security guard shot by Stephen Paddock in the moments leading up to the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history was set to break his silence Thursday night with five television interviews, including one on Fox News, Campos' union president said.
Except when the cameras were about to roll, and media gathered in the building to talk to him, Campos reportedly bolted, and, as of early Friday morning, it wasn't immediately clear where he was.
My bullcrap meter is pegged right now.
Fox News Source
A theory on the shooting I read earlier would be a good reason to skip...
EACH ONE OF THOSE GUNS WERE SUPPOSED TO GO TO A DIFFERENT MEMBER OF THE ISIS CELL. THEY ALL HAD DIFFERENT ROOMS AT DIFFERENT HOTEL/CASINOS. THEY WERE ALL GOING TO CARRY OUT AN ATTACK AT THE SAME TIME. 20+ SHOOTERS ALL ATTACKING AT ONCE. PADDOCK AND CAMPOS HAD A MEETING WHERE PADDOCK GOT A CHANGE OF HEART SO CAMPOS KILLED HIM FOR IT AND CARRIED OUT AT LEAST HIS PART OF THE MISSION. THEN HE SHOT HIMSELF IN THE LEG AND BLAMED PADDOCK. THIS IS WHY FBI IS QUIET. THERE ARE STILL 20+ ISIS MEMBERS IN THE LOOSE WHO WANNA # # UP.
And his pic

Disagree. It looks like he is putting his weight on the right leg, to me, and has the left raised slightly to keep weight off of it. The left leg also looks like it could be bandaged under his pants because it is so much fuller.
Also, I don't know why he couldn't hold the plaque in his left hand, even if it's not the dominant hand, when he can clearly hold a cane in that hand.
Everything about the pic says the wounded leg is the left one.
This is not a huge hole or anything...could have been a simple error. But I just happened to notice it because I filed it in my head that Campos was struck in the right leg.

How could rounds fly down the hallway unless the shooter was in the hallway? I thought those '200 rounds' came thru the door? Totally BS story!
Perhaps he was......
We know two people were in the hallway, according to this report.

When Campos approached Paddock's suite, the shooter "fired through the door, striking Mr. Campos in the upper right thigh," said Hickey who is president of the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America.

This pic seems to show it's his left leg that's injured. His left leg looks like it's bandaged or has a cast under his pants and he is holding the cane on his left side.

My guess would be stage fright, on the biggest night of his acting career.
