You're right. The USA should cut Puerto Rico loose, and let them be independent.

People from different places offer positives and negatives.

Some are very smart and hard workers

Some will never work and reproduce more then they can or their society can handle.

Before high speed travel you could see what each civilization has done with the piece of land they were given.

Is their language dominant
Is their religion dominant
Do they have their own cuisine
Are they spreading across the world or diminiahing
