I asked because generally criminals don't care about laws and they are not much of a deterent to stopping crime.

I just don't think laws or increased punishment make a difference to those who are wanting to cause others harm.

The whole world is imbalanced right now.

But yeah, it's amazing what a person can do with a knife when the moment calls for it. Like the old lady lifting up a car to save her grandkid, everything is possible if you believe, or, you're being chased by 100 cannibals. That's where the 8th sense kicks in.

Not everyone is filthy rich enough to afford outrageously priced Aids drugs. And most of those drugs make it worse if not all.

And why not legalize drunk driving then? They can just get medical treatment most of the time. With new artificial limbs and the wonders of the medical industry. Drunk driving penalties should be brought back to a slap on the wrist.
