The claim in the OP is essentially that this professor said that the Vegas Shooting was trumps fault and that after this the class erupted.

The video footage of the class and professor in question does not back up this claim.

As such any logical person can only conclude in the absence of any further evidence that the aforementioned claim is BS.

If what you say here is correct, then I guess the UNLV spokesman, who's job it is to handle PR for the university, didn't need to make this statement now did it, unless it was exactly as the article and OP claims and not as you wish it didn't.

“While we respect academic freedom in the classroom and the right to free speech, we believe the comments were insensitive, especially given the series of events this week and the healing process that has begun in the community,” UNLV spokesman Tony Allen said.

Yup according to the article you have posted in your OP which claims that she blamed Trump for the shootings based on a video (it even says video in its title) and that the class erupted after.

I checked the UVLN twitter feed, nothing about this statement, nor is it on their press release page of their website.

This smells like fake news.

The anonymous student (of course) is the one who reported it and that report seems to be at odds with the video of the incident. I'm sure that spokesperson was going off of the report by that conveniently anonymous student.

Jesus Christ, I just visited the source in the OP and the main page doesn't have anything that isn't related to the shooting, literally nothing. Using a tragedy for clicks? Pretty low in my opinion and shows the source has no integrity at all.

So either she is talking about Trump causing the deaths of people as in LV, or she is suggesting a President in general will have people die under their watch, so which is it? If it is the second I need to say NO SH@T and wonder why my educational costs for me kids is so wasted.

Lucky bastards. It pisses me off to no end. These people get to be in school and do awesome stuff. Later in life they will do even more awesome stuff. Yet, they cant just go to class and learn /teach.
