But, do you have anything to support that claim or are you just expressing a hunch? It's okay, I get hunches all the time.

The claim in the OP is essentially that this professor said that the Vegas Shooting was trumps fault and that after this the class erupted.
The video footage of the class and professor in question does not back up this claim.
As such any logical person can only conclude in the absence of any further evidence that the aforementioned claim is BS.
“While we respect academic freedom in the classroom and the right to free speech, we believe the comments were insensitive, especially given the series of events this week and the healing process that has begun in the community,” UNLV spokesman Tony Allen said.

If what you say here is correct, then I guess the UNLV spokesman, who's job it is to handle PR for the university, didn't need to make this statement now did it, unless it was exactly as the article and OP claims and not as you wish it didn't.

Sounds like a fail on your part.

It's pointless to tell them it's fake news, they've already bought into it and they won't admit they were fooled.

Didn't she say because Trump got elected people will die?

Jesus Christ, I just visited the source in the OP and the main page doesn't have anything that isn't related to the shooting, literally nothing. Using a tragedy for clicks? Pretty low in my opinion and shows the source has no integrity at all.

Four days after the Oct. 1 mass shooting on the Las Vegas Strip, a UNLV professor of history said she had predicted "people would die" once Donald Trump was elected president.

Yup but did she say that it was Trumps fault those people in Vegas died?
No, no she did not.

She was absolutely right. What she was saying was that President Trump wasn't the kind of person who could stop the inevitable. Every president has a mass shooting under his watch, and there was nothing that Trump could do to stop this type of event that would happen under his watch.
