I have been pretty convinced up until now that there was only 1 shooter, and he did it from the Mandalay Bay Suite. However, I saw this video pop up on my FB feed tonight, and it's honestly the most convincing video I have seen that supports it.

WARNING: Graphic Content

I don't really know what to think about this, but it looks like he shoulders a weapon and as soon as he does that you start hearing firing and someone on the left drops. Watching this gives me butterflies in my stomach, literally my gut is telling me that this is what it looks like.

What do you all think?

PS: Sorry if this has already been posted, but I didn't see anything when I did a search.

Perhaps a shotgun, it was a large flash and something fell or rushed out. It almost looked like a large amount or water out of a fish tank or oddly enough an ice sculpture shattering?

At least this a little better than the 9/11 Pentagon video.

not been posted as a thread, but posts have been made in other threads about it and it seems that is a security guard that dropped his flashlight and when he picked it up the firing had started again and he remained crouching.

Definitely possible - the timing of it all certainly make it looks suspect.

Why must it be a video of a video???

That video has been discussed. Take a listen to this video at the :56 mark for 8-10 secs. There sure seems to be two different guns firing. Definitely not echoing because the burst are not the same.

Thanks, cause I can't really make out anything in the video.

Now that is interesting.

If I had the source I could pump into into the video editor and frame by frame.

I updated the post to show the raw video rather than a video of a video, if that helps.

Ok now I think I see the guy, bottom left hand side, however it looks like a flashlight turns on as opposed to muzzleflashes IMHO

I mean you can see the ppl infront of him clearly as if a light is upon them.

Not a burst of fire....

Then it looks like he ducks as well when the rat-tat-tat is going on.

edit: TBH IDK where the light is coming from you can see it move across two women before he appears in the frame then its in front of him, he crouches but I can't tell if he is firing a weapon. It's happening to fast my ageing eyes I suppose.

This came on after that one, asserts that a spotlight is overhead causing the light:

Am about to frame by frame see if its worth bothering to take stills and hassle beyond a looksie...

That is interesting.

As he comes up on the screen the way his hands go it does look kind of like they come together to hold up a gun.

The initial light pointing towards the right side could def be 'him'.

And I do think the light 'when the guns goes off' is a flashlight because of the circular ring of brightness on the persons body.

And like a frame later it does look like he's two handing his 'flashlight'.

So, honestly, one could argue he has a tactical flashlight on his gun AND 'both sides' could argue it forever.

Unless better / other tape(s) come out, I'd start by going to whoever shot this clip in question and see what they're saying about it, rather than if this be a case of someone saw it online and then pointed 'it' out.

So where did the tape come from be the crux at this point, in my view.

But for anyone that wants to dig all the way, like 10 years ago I happened to get a hold of a demo version of police / fbi photo enhancement software. Used to do a lot of nice work with 911 stuff posted it all the time. The program wont load on win7 so I cant help ya, but I imagine by now there's some other stuff out there you can download install and use legally. The demo I had didnt let you save but I'd just screencap everything.

the thing is if he was that close to the camera the gunfire would have been a whole lot louder and sound completely different not to mention the dozens of people right there who were facing him who would have seen the whole thing. whenever a video cuts right at a moment like that its usually done cause they dont want you to see something, which is most likely that security guard helping the people around him. im pretty sure ive seen this clip before or atleast one from a similar position at the venue so im sure if someone digs enough youll find the full clip and can put this theory to rest. considering i havent heard one witness ever mention a security guard in full dress with a neon vest shooting at people im gonna lean on it being bs

Yeah good call. It'd probably sound like a 'percussion'.

Definitely interesting though.

So was the strobe light...

Definitely a logical way of looking at it.

I think the most convincing thing to me is that you him sweep left, and you see someone wearing purple drop right after the bust of fire start and then he sweeps right.

It's all happening too fast, and the video is too low quality to even know for sure, based on this video alone. But I find this to be the most interesting video that I have seen on this particular subject so far. Enough so, that I decided to make my first thread on it.

see the ducking isnt strange to me. in all the videos youll see groups of people diving for the ground then when theres a lull they get up and start to move about 10-15 feet then another burst will ring out and they dive to the ground again. so its really not surprising behavior going off all the other videos ive seen. the color of the light is that of an led flashlight aswell

edit: also if u look at around the 7 second mark youll see this light sweep through the crowd highlight 2 people and then just to the left as the light leaves them the security guard comes into frame

Looking at it some more its crazy that whatever hes 'holding' it does have 'something hanging' which looks ALMOST like a gun mag, although its not conclusive. Let the clip play it does look like the guy 'with the gun' could be the security gaurd that walks to the right after.

And the gun audio timing is close enough to the timing of the 'incident' for WTF.

The thing to look for therefore is what are the people right next to him doing, where are they looking?

It doesnt look like anyone paying attention to him.

yeah and afterwards most people either have their backs turned looking at the hotel or are ducking moving in the direction the security guards would have been at. btw if you guys dont know u can click the gear on the video in the lower right and reduce the playback speed. youll also see that the guy just in front of the security guard is also a security guard who dives in front of the first guy. the way the first guy moves and whatever hes holding does resemble someone with a firearm though. who knows maybe he had a pistol and flashlight in hand. i know alot of flashlights will have a lil loop to attach it to things so maybe thats the dangling bit but im not sure.

edit: one thing that would put this to rest is to find out what wounds all the victims had. if they are all rifle rounds then the possibility of this guy firing on them is slim to none since most handguns do not fire a rifle round. there are some out there but they are more a novelty one round only type of deal

Does kinda look like he's crouching and firing. Perhaps he thought it came from the crowd and was tKing aim, ready.
