Thats a bunch of crap, he was verbally abusive to her in public.

looking...

Found this...

Employees at a Starbucks in Mesquite, Nev., however, described the couple’s relationship differently. A supervisor at the coffee shop told the Los Angeles Times that Paddock often berated Danley in public. The Starbucks is the only one in town and is inside the Virgin River Casino.

“It happened a lot,” Esperanza Mendoza, supervisor of the Starbucks, told the Times. He would verbally abuse her when Danley asked to use his casino card to buy food or other things inside the casino, Esperanza said.

“He would glare down at her and say — with a mean attitude — ‘You don’t need my casino card for this. I’m paying for your drink, just like I’m paying for you.’ Then she would softly say, ‘Okay’ and step back behind him. He was so rude to her in front of us.”

Washington Post

If he cared about her, he wouldn't have put her in this sh*tty situation.

If she's not lying, she's been broken down by at least verbal abuse to the point where she still protects him even after he is gone.

There are just three possible scenarios here with her:
1. She's truly a victim of sorts
2. She's lying and simply playing the victim, attempting to play the world a fool
3. Its much more sinister, and involves other certain *groups*

He didn't seem to be a gun collector till recently. Doesn't fit the profile of other crazed gunman ect. None of it adds up. Hopefully some details will start to make sense of this all.

He's been collecting guns for a long time. Paddock bought handguns back in 2010 and 2011 from B&S guns near Dallas Texas. www.khou.com...

A Texas gun dealer describes Paddock as a quiet man who purchased expensive guns, including a $1,500 handgun commonly used by the Secret Service.

"He was like a ghost when he came in the shop." said Peddle. "Very quiet. Snuck in, snuck out. Asked a few questions, talked to the gunsmiths, had a little repair done and he was gone."

It seems the girlfriend is telling the truth about him being a quiet man.

You never, ever, ever know, do you. The older I get the more I just want to be near very close friends and family. I've had some remarkable surprises over the years by people I thought I really knew. The person you mention was clearly insane, how could any man want two families?

Got a source for that claim?

Who am I kidding, of course you don't.

Why couldn't this be added to one of the 15+ threads already discussing it?

Well, the fact that she came back at all would seem to make certain hypotheses less likely. There's been some speculation on ATS that she could have been "his ISIS handler."

I'm thinking that she wouldn't have risked coming back to the US if that were the case or if she had any reason to believe that she could be implicated in any way at all.

"Hey wife I bought online. Here, take 100,000 grand and go leave the country for a spell."
*bang bang*
"Hey wife of mad man, we need to speak to you."

If she did not feign innocence it then tends to show her as complicit.

She's not refuting anything by coming back to the US. She is not that compos mentis.

Do we honestly think anything is going to come out of the months and months of speculation this whole thing will end up causing? What's done is done, if it was anything more than what we are being led to believe then we will never get proof for it. It is serving its purpose and that is to make people speculate all these wild theories while more important issues are ignored.

Both sides are being played in this whole thing in my opinion, the sheer ambiguity of the shooter only guarantees no solid answer will come forward.

In other news, how is North Korea?

When I was growing up, one of my mom's best friends, whose children were friends of mine, was married to a short haul truck driver.

They seemed perfectly happy. We used to go for cookouts in the summer. Kids adored their father.

Right up until it was discovered that he had a "second family" a county over.

That's what happens when you date someone who is a short, haul truck driver.

Its not improbable, given what we are hearing about the people he has worked for and the entities that put him in the orbit of, that we have a great deal more to learn about this mans professional life, and what it really comprised of.

There are suggestions that he has connections to the MIC and the Private Military Contracting worlds, which, if accurate, could indicate entirely different motivations, and indeed personal capabilities on his part, than the simple accountant we had been initially introduced to, might have possessed.

Simply put, we know next to nothing about what this man has and has not been involved in over the years, and thats before we consider that his father was a big time, serial bank robber, which may, if he really was JUST an accountant, have instilled in him an inferiority complex, stemming from the shallow thinking which might put a man in doubt of his manliness, when compared to a fellow who sticks up banks for a living. This could all be another "Look at me Daddy! Are you proud yet, you bastard?" moment, as was the Texas Tower shooting.

that sounds totally reasonable.

HOWEVER, if she did have even the most specious links to any bad guys do you think she would rather take her chances HERE where there is at least a semblance of due process.....

OR take her chances with a madman who is killing everyone who smells of drugs or isis?

the worst that can happen to her here is she gets put in jail for a few years and lives off the tax payers dime.

over there? yeah.....

Have you ever seen any parent/spouse/friend/relative talking about someone that commits a crime ..

"He/She was a great person. Kind and Loving..I just cant believe they did this"

People see and believe what they want to when relationships are involved.

Doesnt make them a CIA plan or anything else other than they are acting like a normal human.

Um, since when is "Sounds like" a definitive statement of fact? It's a persons personal opinion, the source is obviously himself, jesus christ.

She sounds like a CIA plant.

Actually, she sounds more like one of two things:

A gold-digger who met her manipulative match & then some, lost her upper hand over the guy (or never had it to begin with) and never realized it.

OR

The proverbial submissive mail-order bride who knew better than to question anything her owner, er, husband, said or did.

Either are significantly more believable than "ERMAGERHD, CIA PLANT!"

Hitler, Stalin, ummmm Bush (yes, not in same league ). Their kill ratio was much higher. They weren't too quiet either. Psycho comes in many different flavors that do not fit stereotypes. That assumption is just plain silly.
