Chelsea Clinton tweets false story - New Michigan Bill that denies gay patients treatment

An outraged Chelsea tweeted that Michigan passed a bill that allowed EMTs to not treat gay patients. Fake news.

Chelsea Clinton falsely tweeted Friday that the Michigan House of Representatives had voted to allow emergency medical providers choice in treating patients, specifically giving EMTs the option to deny treatment to gay patients.

"Absolutely appalling," the former First Daughter tweeted, "Michigan House Passed Bill Allowing EMTs To Refuse Treatment To Gay People."

Chelsea was commenting on an old fake story from a left leaning LGBT rag. Michigan DID pass a law that protected people's religious beliefs if a law infringed on them. When she realized she had made a mistake she deleted the tweet.

Not only was the story old, but the actual premise was deeply flawed. What the Michigan House actually passed was a garden variety Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), which would have exempted religious individuals from laws that infringed on their religious beliefs.

And this silver-spooned idiot wants to run for public office, following in her criminal parents' footsteps. Can't even take 10 seconds to look into the source of a story before trying to use it as ammunition for her public platform.

The entire family have done nothing but sell Americans out for their own interests for years and years. People need to stop listening and giving them this platform.

Half of the reason they even have any followers now is because of their anti-trump "resist" BS and the fact that they towed the line with the Obama administration while he was in office.

Yep. Like many today she was taken by biased reporting that spoke to her fears. We see this all over the place.
Members here post on biased reporting everyday. To her credit, once she realized her error, she removed the tweet unlike some of our members who continue on with the false story bending over backwards in its defense.

I keep wondering if Chelsea was "grown" as the replacement vehicle for Hillary's soon to be vacating soul. Perhaps she's possessing her body now and again to stretch it out with a few yarns.

I Understand what you're saying. If the lass then Tweeted "I was wrong" perhaps some understanding may be reclaimed.
